English
Therefore, he benefits helpless sentient beings, hence he is called 'Protector'. In the 'Tathatā-nāma-saṃgīti' (དོན་དམ་པའི་མཚན་བརྗོད་), the meaning of 'Protector' is: 'Elegant Vajra (སྒེག་པའི་རྡོ་རྗེ།)', the so-called 'Protector' is because he becomes the protector of helpless sentient beings who are drowning in the ocean of samsara.' His merits are such that other lower-ranking noble ones, and any other Dharma, cannot compare with him in terms of metaphors, merits, etc. He is inconceivable and unparalleled. The 'Gaṇḍavyūha Sūtra' says: 'If one can observe well, all the merits of the self-born (རང་བྱུང་།), even the Buddhas and all the Dharmas, are inconceivable.' The 'Stotra Worthy of Praise' also says: 'Merits like the ocean, your merits, I cannot exhaust. Like the sky, helpless, blue lapis lazuli color, birds cannot measure its boundaries.' The so-called 'Hundred Families' refers to having a hundred kinds of numbers. Regarding this, there are many different explanations in the various tantras, but the intention of this tantra is that among the three hundred families of base, path, and fruit, this refers to the hundred families of the fruit stage. Among them, the nature of the five wisdoms, that is, the five families such as Akṣobhya, are further divided into Akṣobhya's Akṣobhya, and even Akṣobhya's Amoghasiddhi, there are five kinds. Similarly, Vairocana and others are also divided into five kinds each, totaling twenty-five kinds. These each correspond to the four immeasurables, from the twenty-five kinds with loving-kindness immeasurable, to the twenty-five kinds with equanimity immeasurable, totaling one hundred kinds. As the root tantra says: 'Among those families, each has a hundred aspects.' The so-called 'Main Deity' refers to the basis of their classification or the pervader, that is, the only family of mind. As that sutra says: 'The master of the mind, the only family.' The so-called 'Vajrasattva (རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ།)' is his name, unshaken by appearances and distinctions, non-dual wisdom is Vajra, generating the mind for the benefit of sentient beings, or the three realms and Suchness being of one taste, is Sattva. As that sutra says: 'Vajra is called indivisible, Sattva is the one taste of the three realms.' These show that all the dharmas contained in the pervaded, solid container world and the changing sentient world, pervade in the way of non-dual wisdom, and pervade in the way that their nature and essence are inseparable, is the indestructible Vajra body. That is without beginning, end, or middle... 其真实名称为Anandagarbha(喜藏)。 ], "english_translations": [ "Free from arising and ceasing, its own nature does not change, without the defilement of suffering and other elaborations, it is great bliss. Severing the two obscurations that become its obstacles, severing in a way that has never existed from the beginning, is the true wisdom path. Therefore, it knows all aspects of knowable things. Its essence is the supreme guide, the master Ratnavardhana (Jewel Increase), the incomparable protector of the wheel, the lord of gods with a hundred lineages, inseparable from Vajrasattva. Thus it is said. The second object of prostration is: 'The glorious Dharma protector who has accomplished asceticism, the Dharma king Jetsun Sakya (Venerable Sakya), and its lineage.' Asceticism refers to the attainment of true wisdom within, so that whatever one wishes to accomplish, the world, including gods, cannot prevent it. Accomplishment refers to having power over it. 'I' is cut off from the root, defeating the army of demons. Grasping at reality dissolves in its own place, liberating from samsara and nirvana.' As said in his self-realization song. What possesses these qualities? It is the glorious Dharma protector. 'Foot' is commonly used in Tibet, which is acceptable, but in Sanskrit it is 'pāda', which means foot, face, one-fourth, etc. Here it means face. As the 'Fifty Verses' says: 'If one mentions his name, one should have his face before people.' Thus, before the face of the glorious Dharma protector. Dharma king refers to: clearly turning the wheel of Dharma for those who should be tamed. As Rabjor Zla said: 'Dharma king is the Dharma king because he turns the wheel of Dharma.' Jetsun (Venerable) refers to: liberating those who are respectful from samsara. As the root tantra says: 'The meaning of Jetsun, the black practitioner is Jetsun, because he liberates those who are respectful to him.' Sakya, 'Sa' refers to the field that generates virtuous qualities, 'Kya' refers to being free from the defilement of sins, symbolizing white. As the emanation of Manjushri said: 'Sa is for generating good qualities, Kya is for abandoning the defilement of sins.' 'Sa' refers to having, just as having a horse is called a horseman. The name of the place is connected to the owner, hence the name. Its real name is Anandagarbha (Joy Womb). 'And its lineage', lineage refers to the meaning of uninterrupted, the warmth of the former's words has not yet faded, and the teachings are personally given to the latter's ears, namely the eastern Karṇapa (Ear Transmission) and Ḍom." Dga' mdzad ni' 是指各自的智慧……", "English translations": [ "'Bhi ba la' and so on.
