Therefore, (the Buddha), in the form of youth, enjoys the delightful pleasures of desire, and this is happiness. Twenty-ninth, the Figure of Feigned Praise: It is a praise that is done in the manner of disparaging or blaming something. For example: 'O Pāramitā of Generosity, you have given all possessions to others,' after saying that, 'Is it reasonable for you to gather all the fruits of happiness of existence and peace for yourself?' This can be recognized as feigned praise. When the great Paṇḍita Śākya Chokden praised Thubpa'i Wangpo (Lord Buddha), he praised in the manner of feigned praise: 'Seeing the army of angry Asuras, like a great wave blazing upwards.' 'The Bhagavan, with a single stream of compassion, caused them to descend from above to below.' When the learned Konchok Lhundrup praised Vajrayoginī, he praised in the manner of feigned praise: 'If one praises as if disparaging, revealing the qualities that appear as faults, that is feigned praise.' After identifying this figure of speech, the actual praise is: 'The arrogant father of the world became your father, the wise and excellent Mañjughoṣa became your means, able to suppress the crest jewel that is the source of bliss with your feet, why do you remain in a peaceful smile?' Therefore, it is said. Thirtieth, the Figure of Definite Indication: It is a speech that, by showing something other than what is beneficial to oneself, understands that what is to be shown is also similar to it. For example: 'For the friendship of friends, for benefiting and helping them, the king of the seven horses (the sun) rises, giving glory to the petals (of the lotus).' Or, 'Golden eyes shine on the dry land, showing the sign of joy in their own place.' 'The sun, full of a thousand rays, revolves again and again, symbolizing that there is nowhere to go.' This can be recognized as the figure of definite indication. When the great Paṇḍita Śākya Chokden praised Thubpa'i Wangpo (Lord Buddha), he praised in the manner of definite indication: 'Without being stingy, giving all possessions to others, in this way, gathering all the wealth of the world for oneself alone, this is amazing!' When the learned Konchok Lhundrup praised Vajrayoginī, he praised in the manner of definite indication: 'By introducing another meaning, making the result similar to it, not showing the best or not the best, that is the figure of definite indication.' After identifying this figure of speech, the actual praise is: 'The sun rises, and the petals of the lotus...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flowers bloom, bees sing, and beauty adorns all directions. This is because the light of Saraswati opens my mind, my words are pleasant to hear, and symbolize the joyous feast of the heart.' Furthermore, that great scholar, in praising the Manjushri of glorious Sakya, said: 'Your foot dust, which makes the red light of the twilight clouds feel ashamed, rests on the heads of a hundred gods.' To fully express this, I have made the source of bliss the ornament on your head, and made it your seat, you who are full of youth.' Thirty-first, the ornament of stating together; to the thirty-fifth, the ornament of implication. Thirty-first, the ornament of stating together is: stating two different things together through actions or qualities, etc. For example: 'The wisdom and compassion of the Buddhas, and the well-being of beings, increase together. When the moon rises, the lotus and my eyes close together.' This can be understood as such. The great Pandit Shakya Chokden, in praising Shakyamuni Buddha, said in the context of praising with the ornament of stating together: 'Whoever becomes a friend to whom, that person is the cause of benefiting him. Like the sun to a lotus pond, the greatly compassionate one is a friend to beings.' The great scholar Konchok Lhundrup, in praising Vajra Saraswati, said in the context of praising with the ornament of stating together: 'Whose Dharma appears together with what, stating together is the ornament.' After identifying the ornament, he directly praised: 'Your body is beautiful together with the flower ornaments, your voice is pleasant accompanied by the sound of the lute, your qualities are fully possessed together with the glory of youth, and your activities increase simultaneously with the scope of compassion.' Furthermore, that great scholar, in praising the Manjushri of glorious Sakya, said: 'Attracting the minds of devout young bees, where do these wonderful blue lotus flowers grow? As radiant as the mental image drawn by conceptual thoughts, the tips of the petals are beautiful together with the precious ornaments.' Thirty-second, the ornament of exchange is: stating the content to be expressed, qualities, actions, or things, etc., intertwined with each other, this is the ornament of exchange. For example: 'Greatly wise one, you bestow the giving of the true Dharma to others, and you collect all the fame of the ears of other beings to yourself.' This can be understood as such.
