For example, it is like some farmers in the summer, when the fields are thirsty for water, from the clouds with thunder, many streams of water will fall. This is considered a figure of speech. As the great scholar Shakya Chokden said in his praise of the Lord of Sages (Thubpa'i Wangpo, Buddha Shakyamuni), in the section praising with the ornament of benefiting all: 'When you alone wish to diligently accomplish the benefit of all, without any effort, countless emanations equal to yourself will appear.' Furthermore, the great scholar Konchok Lhundrup, in his praise of Vajra Saraswati (Dorje Yangchenma, सरस्वती), in the section praising with the ornament of benefiting all, by identifying the figure of speech 'For undertaking difficult tasks, fully possessing the ability to accomplish, obtaining effortlessly, this is the benefit of all,' in the actual praise wrote: 'The darkness of ignorance of us beings, who will become the savior to dispel them? When all directions are dim, you, like the auspicious moon, are found by us through the fortune of merit.' This is the reason. Twenty-second, the Ornament of Vastness (རྒྱ་ཆེ་བའི་རྒྱན།), refers to speech that demonstrates the vastness of thought or action. For example: 'Having the thought of saving all beings from the suffering of samsara, like climbing the steps of a precious mountain, ascending from higher to higher.' This is considered a figure of speech. As the great scholar Shakya Chokden said in his praise of the Lord of Sages, in the section praising with the ornament of vastness: 'Your wisdom is as vast as the ocean, your intention is as high as Mount Meru, the benefit of others is equal to the sky, surpassing from higher to higher.' Furthermore, the great scholar Konchok Lhundrup, in his praise of Vajra Saraswati, in the section praising with the ornament of vastness, by identifying the figure of speech 'Symbolizing greatness with thought or wealth, this is the ornament of vastness,' in the actual praise wrote: 'Even the gods immersed in the countless glories of the heavens, respectfully touch your lotus feet with their crowns, yet you willingly become the servant of each ignorant being, your incredible compassionate actions are beyond our imagination.' This is the reason. Twenty-third, the Ornament of Denial (སྙོན་དོར་གྱི་རྒྱན།), refers to slightly denying the true nature of a thing and showing it as something else. For example: 'This body adorned with marks and signs, is not your body, but a feast for the eyes of beings; this sound as sweet as the voice of Brahma, is not your voice, but the nectar that eliminates sins.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like a flowing stream. (You) are as deep as the ocean, this is not your mind, but a mirror that illuminates all Dharmas. I praise you with a respectful heart, this is not a song for you, but a statement of your nature.' This is considered (a situation). As the great scholar Shakya Chokden praised the Lord of Sages, using the figure of speech of denial: 'This youthful body with marks and signs is not your body, but that of a goddess (or non-goddess). It is like a chariot driving the mind of a goddess (or non-goddess), a hook that draws beings.' And as the great scholar Konchok Lhundrup praised Vajra Saraswati, using the figure of speech of denial: 15-797 'Revealing the distinction of what is to be expressed through negation is the figure of speech of denial.' After identifying this figure, in the actual praise it is said: 'You see all Dharmas with bright and vast eyes, this is merely a worldly saying. I am certain that all wonderful images of knowledge are non-dual with your mind.' Twenty-fourth, Pun: Speech that expresses two meanings with one word. For example: 'Merely blooming, the petals flourish; some can relieve suffering, tasting brings happiness.' This is considered (a situation). As the great scholar Shakya Chokden praised the Lord of Sages, using the figure of speech of pun: 'However, by the power of compassion, it is not a flame that burns the fuel of desire, but the nectar water that burns the heat of samsara.' And as the great scholar Konchok Lhundrup praised Vajra Saraswati, using the figure of speech of pun: 15-798 'Expressing two or more different meanings with a word that has the same form is the figure of speech of pun.' After identifying this figure, in the actual praise it is said: 'A pleasant soft fragrance that delights everyone's mind, dispels the endless suffering of beings, the south wind increases the messenger of the god of love, the cool compassion of Saraswati dispels afflictions.' Twenty-fifth, Special Description: In order to show the excellence of a certain cause, even if some of the characteristics, qualities, types, and functions of the cause are incomplete, it can show its ability to produce results. For example: 'The devil praises...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
