If one understands these and dwells equally in their meaning, they bestow common siddhis (achievements) such as longevity and freedom from illness, and ultimately, supreme siddhis such as liberating oneself and others from samsara (cyclic existence). As it is said in the Vajra Dakini: 'Long life, freedom from illness, and perfect abundance, likewise, possessing wisdom and knowledge.' And: 'Accomplishing all actions, bestowing the supreme siddhi.' Seventh, the fault of not knowing Suchness: From the Samputa Tantra: 'The yogi whose mind lacks Suchness is like an elephant shaking a bell.' Because the yogi lacks Suchness, he considers his own siddhi to be far away.' This is taught in the Root Tantra and the Second Tantra. That is, like the bell on an elephant's neck, if one does not know Suchness, siddhi will not arise quickly. It mainly applies to the bell, and also implies the vajra. As Smriti says: 'Because of not knowing the Suchness of the vajra, it is like the vajra in the hand of Indra.' Specifically showing how to hold the inner samaya (vow) vajra and bell: Second, explaining in detail how to hold the samaya vajra and bell. Some say: 'The outer bell is considered to be within the scope of the lower three tantras, while the inner bell is within the scope of Anuttarayoga.' But this is not the case. There is no such explanation of the vajra and bell in the Kriya and Charya tantras, and the vajra and bell explained at the top of the Yoga Tantra are explained as having five prongs. In the Anuttara tantras, both five-pronged and nine-pronged bells are explained. The so-called outer and inner vajra and bell refer separately to the nine-pronged and five-pronged bells. Therefore, the terminology of outer and inner vajra and bell is used exclusively in Anuttarayoga. The nine-pronged bell is called the outer bell or the wisdom vajra and bell, and is generally held publicly. The five-pronged bell is called the uncommon bell or the inner bell, or the samaya vajra and bell, and is blessed and held secretly. This has two aspects: the method of blessing, and the method of holding it secretly as a samaya that is never separated. First, one should be in union with the yoga of one's own deity, and then place a vajra and bell with complete characteristics on a good base in front. Cleanse and purify it. From the state of emptiness of the vajra, from the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), a vajra made of gold, etc., with all the measurements and characteristics arises. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
