‘lDan (Endowed). The five roots above and below each have five deities, totaling ten. The sixteen lotus petals above and below, totaling twenty-six, plus the Vajrasattva (Vajrasattva) yab-yum (father-mother) in the center, making a total of twenty-seven. In the oral instructions, there is also a saying that the father and mother in the center are counted separately, making a total of twenty-eight. Thus it is said. If divided in detail, ‘the center is the wisdom being’, therefore, the center is Vajrasattva. The five roots above are the essence of the Five Tathagatas, completely pure: In the 'Dakini Tantra' it says: 'In the center of all is Vairochana, in the east is Akshobhya, in the southern root is Ratnasambhava. In the west is Amitabha, in the north is Amoghasiddhi. The deities of the four roots, etc.' The five roots below are the essence of the five goddesses: 'The four roots, such as the center and the east, are the dakinis. In the east is Vajra Dakini, in the north is Bhayānī, in the west is Rākṣasī, in the south is Caṇḍālī, in the center is Wisdom Dakini, one should meditate on the Samaya-vajra.' Relying on the central part, the eight lotus petals above symbolize the Eightfold Noble Path, pure as the nature of the eight Bodhisattvas: the eight earth petals, pure as the essence of the Eightfold Noble Path. As it is, placed in its position, that is, established. The hands of the lotus are Avalokiteśvara, as well as Maitreya, Ākāśagarbha and Samantabhadra, Vajrapāṇi and Mañjuśrī, Sarvanivāraṇaviṣkambhin and Kṣitigarbha. ‘The eight deities here should be visualized on the lotus petals as they are in their positions.’ The eight lotus petals below, in the lotus are the eight goddesses: ‘Establish them in their positions as they are. Vajra-aṅkuśī, Vajra-pāśī, Vajra-sphoṭī, Vajra-ghaṇṭā. These four goddesses reside in the lotus petals of the four directions. On the four corner petals are also these four goddesses: Sañcālanī, Ratna-tārā, Vajra-mālā, and Aparājitā, Sarva-atikrāntā.’ Completely pure as the essence of the eight goddesses. In addition, the eight lotus petals are wisdom, and the moon mandala is a symbol of skillful means, symbolizing the union of skillful means and wisdom, with the head of the Makara rotating. The roots symbolize Nirvana. In short, what is symbolized by the vajra should be Samsara, and the deities to be purified are... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Transcending suffering, understanding these two as mutually cause and effect, merging into one, or recognizing that the essence of one's own mind is unique, is what is called 'samsara and nirvana are inseparable,' which is the ultimate truth. This is what I have perfectly explained. The second part is the truth of the bell, which is divided into the truth of sound and the truth of form. First is the truth of sound, as stated in the 'Sambudha': 'The truth of wisdom's liberation, all the gods can hear.' Therefore, wisdom is emptiness, and liberation refers to expressing its meaning, which is the sound of the bell. This sound indicates that all dharmas are emptiness, unconditioned, and naturally pure. Its necessity is also mentioned in the 'Sambudha': 'Until the end of the realm of space, the heart of bodhi always exists. The ten directions are all places of enlightenment, and the world is boundless.' Therefore, one should visualize that such a bell sound pervades the ten directions of space, until the heart of bodhi, this sound can awaken limitless sentient beings from the sleep of ignorance. The second is the truth of form, as stated in the 'Sambudha': 'The so-called eight directions are the eight famous goddesses. The eight seed syllables are respectively established in the eight directions. In the east is Tara.' and so on. The inner emptiness, the form is the sky, symbolizing the formless realm. The perfection of form is radiant, referring to the faces of the gods, etc., symbolizing the form realm. The shape is like an open lotus, produced by karma, symbolizing the place of existence of the formless realm. Inside the bell, there is a vase filled with the nectar of wisdom, and in the place of the nectar of wisdom, the center is the goddess of the mind—Prajnaparamita, whose form is beautiful and full of merit. Therefore, the inner emptiness is emptiness, which is the formless realm and the Dharmakaya; the gods and symbols inside the bell are the Nirmanakaya and the desire realm; the vase and the face of the goddess are the form realm and the Sambhogakaya. Half of the vajra symbolizes the basis of such practice—the three realms, and the meaning of the inseparability of the three kayas that are practiced. If only the inside of the bell is combined with the three kayas, then the inner emptiness is the Dharmakaya, and from these two, scattering the light of wisdom to the eight directions is the Nirmanakaya, what is said... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
