Grant me the accomplishments of pacifying, increasing, subjugating, and wrathful activities, And the actual attainments of all activities. You lords of Yakshas (gNod sbyin) (夜叉，夜叉), who possess great power and miracles, Please swiftly accomplish All my thoughts and wishes. Thus, entrust the activities. Then, at this time, the prose confession from the chapter of confession in the 'Great Praise' (bStod chen) composed by Buton (Bu ston), should be recited and arranged by the master and disciples, while scattering flowers on the objects of veneration. We beseech the great king, the Dharma-protecting Vaishravana (rNam thos sras), along with his retinue, including his sons and consorts, the eight great ministers, the twenty-eight great commanders, the thirty-two mighty ones, the sixteen great regions, and all the Yakshas (gNod sbyin) (夜叉，夜叉) who protect the land, together with their entourages, to heed us. We have entered the gate of the Hearer Vehicle (Nyan thos kyi theg pa) (Śrāvakayāna), and we confess all actions that contradict the precepts of the Hearer Vehicle before you, the great Hearers. Having entered the gate of the Bodhisattva Vehicle (Byang chub sems dpa'i theg pa) (Bodhisattvayāna), we confess all actions that contradict the precepts of the Bodhisattva Vehicle before you, the great Bodhisattvas. Having entered the gate of the Secret Mantra Vehicle (gSang sngags kyi theg pa) (Mantrayāna), we confess all impairments and breakages of the root and branch vows of the Secret Mantra before you, the great Vajradhara (rDo rje 'dzin pa). In particular, having requested you, the great king, to be our protector and having taken refuge, we have transgressed your commands and vows, failing to keep the common samayas (dam tshig), violating the special four vows, teaching the Dharma to unsuitable vessels out of worldly considerations, especially giving the king's decree to those who should not receive it, requesting activities that should not be requested out of self-desire, interrupting recitations and meditations out of laziness, making offerings and tormas (gtor ma) inferior out of stinginess, associating with those who have broken their vows, and so forth, we confess all actions that contradict the mind of the great king. Please accept our confession in the state of aimless Dharmakaya (chos sku), and bless us so that we do not become obstacles to the path and accomplishments. From beginningless time, driven by afflictions and karma, whatever misdeeds I have committed through the power of carelessness, I confess them individually in the state of unborn Dharmakaya, may they be purified like a cloudless sky! Especially transgressing your Samaya (vows), failing to fulfill the Thugs Dam (spiritual commitment) due to carelessness and distraction, I confess them individually in the realm of Great Bliss Sambhogakaya, may they vanish like mist in the sky! Associating with those who have broken their vows, engaging in scattered behavior, and whatever faults I have incurred by being touched by the shadow of those who have broken their vows, I confess them individually in the state of whatever appears Nirmanakaya, may they be pacified like a fire that has consumed its fuel! (Recite once or three times, etc. Then, from the white conch, make three sounds, accompanied by music, strike the cymbals three times, beat the drum and make a deep sound. Recite this chapter of offerings from the 'Great Praise'. First recite the first three verses of this Protector, then four verses, then five verses, adding the offering melody of the Protector's Dharma-nature Mother in between, and at the intervals, make three cymbal strikes each time. Offer to the Guardian and retinue:) With actual offerings and those emanated by the mind, arising from mantra and Samadhi (meditative concentration), I offer clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings like an ocean. I offer water for drinking, water for washing feet, flowers, incense, lamps, fragrant perfumes, and excellent food, as well as stainless bliss-generating objects of enjoyment, filling the entire world. Lutes, flutes, copper horns, conches, clay drums, and large drums, ten thousand kinds of exquisite musical instruments, I offer with melodious sounds. Born from the power of virtue, arising from the wish-fulfilling tree, all the divine substances and implements, I take with my mind and offer. The seven precious jewels, such as the wheel, arising from the power of the king's merit, and that which makes the king unparalleled, I offer to the Great King and retinue. Objects that increase the glory of gods and humans, and accomplish all purposes, the eight auspicious symbols such as the umbrella, I also offer to the Guardian and retinue. The five desirable qualities such as form, filling the wondrous and excellent world, I offer to satisfy the five senses of the Guardian and retinue. Objects of accomplishment such as swords, treasures of Siddhis (spiritual powers) such as flying, and the twenty-seven Siddhis, I offer to fulfill the Great King's intentions. By the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, the power of secret mantras and Vidyas (knowledge), and the blessings of the pure Dharmadhatu (realm of reality), this Torma (ritual cake) is a collection of divine substances such as Amrita (nectar), capable of generating stainless bliss, please enjoy! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
