You previously, in the presence of the Teacher (Buddha), vowed to guard and protect the sacred Dharma and the fourfold assembly, the firm commitments you made, Please do not forget, please heed my supplication! For the sake of the Buddha's teachings and the Sangha of those who uphold the teachings, as well as the patrons who offer to the Dharma, please pacify all sources of fear and suffering, all karmas, afflictions, and sins. Whether caused by past karma or arising from sudden circumstances, the sources of fear and suffering, whether from the armies of hostile forces, or the harassment of thieves and evildoers, and the enemies and obstacles that harm body, life, and property, the four hundred and four diseases and plagues, the eighty thousand types of obstacles and powerful demons, please pacify them all! Sudden unexpected disasters, curses, witchcraft, and elemental imbalances, as well as harm from humans and non-humans, please pacify them all! Whether internal or external, all sufferings of body and mind, although caused by one's own karma, through the power of you who have attained the ten freedoms, please nourish the fruits of happiness, suppress the fruits of suffering, and through the great Samadhi of bliss, protect body and mind from all suffering! May we be victorious over the enemies of untimely death, may the strength, complexion, and appearance of the body be enhanced, may the body capable of practicing the sacred Dharma live long, may life be unharmed and increase! You possess the treasury of space, may I and all those who uphold the Dharma, have no wrong livelihood, may we have possessions and wealth that are in accordance with the Dharma, and may they increase! May this precious lamp of the Buddha's teachings, which is the source of benefit and happiness for all beings, not fall under the control of dark forces, may it continuously flourish and develop!
