The above is the section of praises. The praises to the prince and retinue are as before. The procedures for the Hearers and Bodhisattvas, and the praises through holding the Tantras, all start from the first verse of each section. Then, from 'The Glory of Governance and Peace' to the final auspicious prayers, proceed as described before. If further condensed, from the self-generation to the offering of the Torma, proceed as before. Retain the praises such as 'The Holy Palace of Jewels,' and the phrases invoking activities such as 'Hūṃ! King who protects the Northern direction, Vaiśravaṇa.' Perform the confession, offering, and invocation of peaceful and wrathful activities from the Great Praise as before. Then, perform the previously retained praises and invocations of activities at this point. Afterwards, starting from 'The Glory of Governance and Peace,' proceed as before, thus fulfilling the meaning. Thus, this relaxing, greatly virtuous, and pleasing offering ritual was composed by the Sakya lay practitioner and mantra holder, named Ngawang Kunga Sonam. By this merit, may I and all other beings purify all obscurations, and accomplish the meaning of this life and the next. May all wishes in our hearts be fulfilled as desired, and until the end of Samsara, may we accomplish countless benefits and happiness. Although we ordinary beings lack self-power, may the Great King and his retinue, with their power and miraculous abilities, cause the yogi master to have a long and clear life, and in the next life, may we together go to Sukhavati. This is the offering ritual of the Great King Vaiśravaṇa. By Ngawang Kunga Sonam, a Sakya practitioner without monastic vows, a mantra holder who touches the feet of the son of the Dharma King, the supreme regent, named Rigden Jampai Wang, and his brothers, as well as Gyalwa Muspa Chenpo Sangye Gyaltsen, with the highest limbs, before the omniscient Khenchen Ngawang Chokyi Drakpa, he received the initiation of the five different lineages of the Great King Vaiśravaṇa, as well as its tantras and oral instructions, equivalent to a Tibetan book of transmission and oral teachings, along with instructions. In order to establish the Torma base annually in the newly built Vaiśravaṇa temple called 'Lchanglochen' at the bird wing of the complete assembly hall of the Sakya four-story Labrang, Thinking to benefit the lineage son Ngawang Sonam Wangchuk and other disciples who share the same fortune, the ritual concerning this... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was compiled from numerous reliable scriptures composed by the previous great masters. It was completed on an auspicious day in the last month of the Water Sheep year (Tibetan calendar), at the Tashi Tsekpa (Auspicious Stacked) residence of the four-story palace. The scribe was Dongawa Sampa Dondhen, who excelled in both medicine and the art of writing. By the merit of this deed, may the great king and his entourage grant us, the master and disciples, the attainments of longevity, freedom from illness, and great power in this life, and may we be reborn together in Sukhavati (Pure Land) in the next life without any obstacles. May auspiciousness increase! May all be auspicious! Served by Guru according to the wishes of Khenchen Aphe Rinpoche. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
