As for the method of offering: One is to complete deficiencies. Count and recite up to ten, and every eleventh time, recite 'Offering Bandha La'. During recitation and supplementary recitation, etc., each time reciting one thousand times 'Dewa Pitsu' (藏文:དེ་ཝ་པི་ཙུ་,梵文天城体:देवपिचु,梵文罗马拟音:devapicu,汉语字面意思:Heavenly Food), use the right thumb and index finger to take a sesame seed from the container, count it, and offer it. Afterward, offer poplar branches, etc., as before. Recite 'Dewa Pitsu' one thousand times, repeating ten times. In this way, each recitation can reach one hundred thousand mantras. Doing this four times completes one-tenth of the fire offering. As stated in the scriptures: 'If you practice one million secret mantras, you need to perform ten thousand fire offerings.' Here, counting with 'Dewa Pitsu' is considering that the heart mantra has already been recited four hundred thousand times, so one-tenth is taken. This is a unique practice in the Jampelyang Sakya translator also mentioned in 'Vajrakilaya Practice Lamp': 'Counting objects can be sesame or mustard seeds. Count by reciting the Kīlāya Peg) mantra.' Jetsun Ewampa also said: 'In the Kunrig (ཀུན་རིག་,Sarvavid) practice, the root mantra or the generation mantra can be used for counting.' In the Akshobhya (མི་འཁྲུགས་པ་,Immovable One) practice, Kamkani is used for counting. In addition, in the Ewampa lineage, during the fire offering of Hevajra (ཀྱཻ་རྡོ་རྗེ,Hevajra), sesame seeds are used to count the mantras. This may be because, during practice, the heart mantra was not counted four hundred thousand times, and it is impossible to count one-tenth of the root mantra. In any case, one attendant continuously adds firewood to keep the flame burning. Among them, poplar branches are used to make the flame burn vigorously. Visualize the melted offerings entering the mouths of all the deities, the lumpy offerings are placed in the hands of the deities, and the kusha grass is offered on the topknot. After the offerings are burned, as mentioned in the previous 'Offering Wine', offer three times full of ghee. Replenish the offerings, bless them, and offer the outer offerings, reciting verses and mantras such as 'Immaculate and pleasing offerings', and perform mudras. Take the essence from the inner offerings and offer it to the lineage gurus of the ten directions and three times and the respective yidams. Offer the middle essence to the transcendent Torma, and offer the remaining offerings to the Dharma protectors, ghosts, and the six realms of beings, etc. Visualize that the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Seed Syllable) in your heart is the essence of all the deities, taste a little nectar, and hold the vajra bell, offering the white offerings of the eight offering goddesses. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
