When it arises as a person with connection, it transforms into someone who experiences bliss and emptiness. The object of meditation is the unequal union that does not depend on Āli Kāli. By meditating in this way, the distraction of wind and mind increases. At the time of the two accumulations, during the actual practice of bliss and emptiness, when the realization of the union of bliss and emptiness arises, this transforms into someone who experiences bliss and emptiness. The object of meditation is generated from seed syllables. By meditating in this way, when phenomena such as the appearance of deities arise, which are more related to the completion stage, this transforms into someone who experiences deeper bliss and emptiness. The object of meditation is generated instantaneously. By meditating in this way, through the power of habituation, one can completely meditate on the mandala of deities in an instant. Appearances arise as the mandala of deities, the body transforms into the mandala of channels, and one obtains the name of accomplished one. These four Abhisamayas are combined with the four types of individuals: superior, intermediate, inferior, and the worst. Furthermore, the methods of increasing and decreasing Abhisamaya, as well as the confusion of the fifteenth commentary tradition, and those similar to it in the oral tradition, and any of the four, such as the support for meditating on selflessness mother and the body mandala, which are generated instantaneously, should be enumerated. A detailed analysis of these should be carefully examined with a discerning mind in the commentaries. Sixth, the general meaning, the way to practice the ten aspects of yoga: As it says, 'Who, when, where, what to think, the reality and distinctions of yoga, these are five.' Thus, first, who should practice? A yogi who has tamed their mind through the path of the pāramitā vehicle, entered the mandala of Hevajra, received empowerment, possesses vows and precepts, and desires to attain supreme accomplishment for the benefit of themselves and others, should practice the two stages of the path described below. As the teacher Nāgpopa said, 'First, with a mind that is temporarily afflicted by various sufferings, focusing on the realm of sentient beings, with compassion as the root, filled with the power of compassion,' etc. Also, from the Ocean of Sādhanas, 'The yogi should strive for the benefit of all sentient beings with a diligent mind.' Second, the time for practice: For a beginner, the time for meditating on samatha is when there is less distraction of thoughts due to dullness and agitation, which is an auspicious circumstance. As the Root Tantra says, 'At night.'

Thus it was said. Then, if Shantipa said, 'Get up early at dawn,' and Ninti pa, Nagpopa, and Marmeza said, 'Get up in the morning,' is this contradictory? This is just for the sake of easy explanation. Here, for beginners, in the generation stage, one must first meditate from the night, because Shantipa said, 'At night,' which refers to the time when people are asleep. In Nagpopa's commentary, it says, 'Night' refers to a part of the night, because other unfavorable factors can cause harm. Bhawapa said, 'At night,' which means that it is easier to achieve accomplishments at night. When the mind is slightly stable, one can practice in the manner of four sessions. In the 'Ocean-Born Sadhana,' it says, 'Thus, gradually four sessions.' In its commentary, Jalandharipa said, 'The order of blessing in four sessions' refers to dawn, noon, afternoon, and night, which is the order of practice. The three sessions mentioned in the Root Tantra, in accordance with the Sadhana written by Nagpopa, are the dawn, day, and afternoon sessions. These also vary according to individual abilities, so there is no contradiction. The third part includes the place and how to practice the conduct there. First, for beginners, the place to practice yoga, the Root Tantra says, 'The place when first getting used to it is any praised mind, the place where one-pointed concentration can be achieved, it must be good. In one's own home.' When the mind is slightly stable, one can practice in places such as cemeteries. The Root Tantra says, 'Cemeteries, bird shelters on mountains,' and so on. For those who have gained greater stability, from the perspective of a yogi, the Root Tantra says, 'A tree, a cemetery, the home of a mother ghost, the night, or at a remote end, practice is said to be good.' From the perspective of the deity to be meditated upon, one can practice in cemeteries, by the water, under trees, in forests, empty houses, etc. The Vajra Tent Tantra says, 'Great Compassionate Lord Heruka (Sanskrit: Heruka, Tibetan: ཀྱཻ་རྡོ་རྗེ།), I (Sanskrit: aham, Tibetan: ང་, Sanskrit Romanization: aham, Chinese literal meaning: 我) give accomplishments to the devout in cemeteries, by the water, in forests, and in uninhabited villages. The lotus-born shore is desirable, the profound stupa of relics, and under the moist tree, I (Sanskrit: aham, Tibetan: ང་, Sanskrit Romanization: aham, Chinese literal meaning: 我) am the Buddha who gives accomplishments.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
