Meditate on the deity adorned with marks and signs, and apply similar antidotes, dissimilar antidotes, increasing antidotes, and additional antidotes, combined with a little scripture. As the great scholar Konchok Lhundrup said in his writings: 'Meditating on wrathful deities subdues hatred; being surrounded by a retinue of consorts subdues desire; meditating on a body adorned with marks and signs purifies ignorance.' Just as a firm poison destroys a moving poison, ordinary conceptual thoughts destroy the conceptual thoughts of the path. Just as small fennel seeds counteract a minor wind disease, the generation stage meditation that cultivates antidotes to the container and its contents counteracts it. Just as a small amount of water is drawn by the help of a large amount of water, meditate on many antidotes to counteract attachment to one aspect. Just as a sore is treated by cauterization and cutting, etc., meditate on a retinue of goddesses, etc., as an antidote to desire. The Root Tantra also says: 'A fragment of poison itself causes all beings to die. Knowing the nature of poison, one uses poison to pierce poison. Just as one who is seized by wind gives fennel powder to eat, from examining antidotal medicines, wind strikes wind. From conceptual thought comes conceptual thought, and existence itself pacifies existence. Just as water enters the ear, one draws it out with other water. Likewise, the conceptual thought of objects is purified by discernment. Just as burning cauterizes a sore, fire also burns the body. Likewise, the fire of desire burns with the fire of desire. The inexhaustible karma of beings, with whatever they are bound, if they have skillful means, they will be liberated from the bonds of existence. Attachment binds the world, and liberation comes from desire itself. This very antidote is not known by Buddhas or non-Buddhists.' If you want to elaborate on the scriptures and classifications, you can learn from the writings of the superiors, such as the Abhisamayalankara and the Dagden Namshé, and you will become intelligent. As mentioned above, after recognizing the object to be subdued and the means of subduing, transform them into the path using four methods. All of the objects to be subdued and the means of subduing mentioned earlier are not merely arrangements of similarities and symbolic meanings based on self-satisfaction, but by the power of the imprints of all the dharmas that transcend suffering abiding on the mind's alaya, all conventional appearances are transformed into the form of the fruition Buddha's body. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And the manner in which the Dharmakaya (chos sku) manifests is as the naturally pure form. As stated in the eleventh chapter of the Root Tantra (rtsa rgyud), 'All sentient beings can be determined as belonging to five families based on their color and shape.' Therefore, through practice, the temporary defilements that were originally present are cleared away and manifest, which is the meaning of combining the basis of purification with the means of purification. Thus, regarding this, all bases to be purified are practiced with their respective paths, and there are two ways in which they serve as the four paths. Firstly, if we illustrate with an example, the womb of a mother in the case of viviparous beings is triangular, and the eggs of oviparous beings, etc., are not impure hand seals, but rather one should contemplate the Dharma-originated triangle that appears in one's mind as being inseparable from it. Secondly, there are two aspects. By contemplating the Dharma-originated triangle in this way, because its shape is easy to visualize, it is called 'taking form as the path.' Similarly, by generating faith in the three doors of liberation and the hand seals such as the eyes, it is called 'taking faith as the path.' Furthermore, by contemplating the result of Buddhahood as the three doors of liberation and the actual hand seals such as the eyes, it is called 'taking the result as the path.' Therefore, the yogi blesses the mind-stream and perfects the accumulations, and thus it is called 'taking blessing as the path.' The reason for this is that it is a path that is entered through attachment and is not deceptive due to connection. Entering through attachment means being attached to the form of the basis of purification, and then being attached to the actual result in the form. Not being deceptive due to connection means that the basis of purification, the path, and the result are all connected to each other, or are non-different in meaning, and therefore not deceptive. This is also the reason why one obtains all the qualities of Buddhahood by practicing the basis of purification and the means of purification in the generation stage. Thus, when the ten yogis combine the basis of purification with the means of purification and diligently practice with the four paths, if they obtain a small amount of heat, they practice Kundalini (kundhar) in secret. When they obtain a medium amount of heat, they practice Kundalini openly in the world. When they rely on the prophesied Lotus Girl and obtain a great amount of heat, they attain the eighth Bhumi within a month through the practice of Samantabhadra, and thus become qualified to practice the proximate cause. Thereafter, it is certain that they will attain the great Vajradhara thirteenth Bhumi in seven days through the proximate cause. Here it is said: This general explanation of the Sakya Father Teachings, the Hevajra, [was written] in the great Sakya Four-Story Ladrang (bla brang).
