Therefore, it is necessary to obtain the empowerment of (Sihdhū ra'i dkyil 'khor, mandala) and not regress. There are eleven yogas in total, from the first yoga of sleeping to the fifth yoga of the guru. Second, the eleven yogas on the path are: sleeping, rising, tasting nectar, immeasurable, generating the guru as the deity, the yoga of purifying beings, Blessings of heroes and heroines, speech recitation and mind recitation as one, inconceivable yoga, and the yoga of conduct. Thus, there are eleven yogas. The reason for appearing in this order is that the text states 'first, temporarily,' which indicates that the yoga of rising needs to be done before practicing the generation stage, and before that, the yoga of sleeping needs to be done. Therefore, the first of the eleven yogas, the yogi should temporarily abide in the yoga of sleeping. This is related to this. The first three, such as the yoga of sleeping, The text has covered from the inconceivable to rising in conduct. These two yogas abide in the inconceivable, rising from the form of the yogini, rising by tasting nectar, it is said. Among them, the first yoga of sleeping is divided into two. Sleeping in terms of the generation stage or state is: at the end of the last meditation session, visualize oneself as a yogini, on a jewel throne supported by lions, without ornaments and implements, in the form of a young girl, bowing one's head in the lap of the guru who abides in the form of Vajra Dharma in the sky in front, and then sleep. This is also known as sleeping in the state of bliss co-emergent with ease. Second, sleeping in terms of the completion stage or state is: if practicing the inconceivable, sleep in that state. If not practicing, visualize emptiness for a moment and then sleep in the state of non-proliferation. It is said that this is sleeping in the state of self-nature co-emergent emptiness. If the component of calming is more, sleep according to the first method; if the component of clarity and bliss is more, sleep according to the latter method, thus it becomes union. Second, the yoga of rising is: when it is time to rise, or when the sound of ḍāmaru (hand drum) resounds in the sky, or when the sound of three oṃs resounds, or when the sound of the near-heart mantra is heard, Rise yourself, becoming the form of a yogini without ornaments and implements. That is, if according to the first method of sleeping, rise directly; if according to the latter method, like a fish leaping from the water, rise from the state of emptiness in an instant into the form of the supreme mother without implements. This is the yoga of sleeping and rising. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Furthermore, the first of these two yogas purifies the destruction of the vessel (world) and the stages of sentient beings' death, including both gross and subtle aspects. Primarily, it purifies the death process by sleeping in an inconceivable state, purifies the bardo by transforming dreams into luminosity or by seizing dreams themselves with skillful means, and purifies birth through the yoga of rising. Therefore, it is essential to understand that it purifies all the habitual tendencies and illusory appearances of birth, death, and bardo. Even in the Paramita Vehicle, sleep is merely transformed into virtue through the power of motivation, whereas here, in the yoga of sleeping, practice is undertaken by introducing the object to be purified and the purifying agent. Regarding the stages of birth, there are two ways of being born: gradually, like a womb-born, and simultaneously, like a miraculously born. Therefore, there are also two ways of rising: rising as the body itself, and rising in the manner of a fish leaping from water. Alternatively, it is also said that there are two ways of rising: gradually and simultaneously. Third, tasting nectar: By visualizing the offering of the syllable BAM (藏文:བྃ,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,汉语字面意思:vam) at the heart chakra by Great Earth, one should recite the three syllables and taste. Among these, it is best to taste three pills, intermediate is two, and least is one. If there are no pills, one should drink three sips of chang (Tibetan beer).’ It is said, if there are nectar pills, taste them; if that is not available, put nectar pills in chang and taste it; if that is still not available, bless the chang, recite the three syllables, and taste it. In general, by offering to all the chakra points of the body, and especially to the BAM (藏文:བྃ,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,汉语字面意思:vam) at the heart, one purifies all impure faults and generates the wisdom of great bliss in the continuum. This is a particularly special method of purification, superior to all yogas of bathing, including those of the Vinaya. Meditating on one's own body as the deity is the joy of the body, tasting nectar is the joy of speech, and meditating on the syllable BAM (藏文:བྃ,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,汉语字面意思:vam) is the joy of mind; thus, meditate on possessing the three joys. This purifies the ordinary body, speech, and mind. Fourth, the immeasurable ones: The text states, 'All sentient beings should be liberated from the ocean of samsara and placed in the bliss of perfect enlightenment.' The yoga of immeasurables should be practiced first. Great Earth says, 'Having attained the state of perfect enlightenment, I will liberate all sentient beings from the ocean of suffering of existence.' One should think in this way, thereby perfecting the four immeasurables. To practice these meanings, refuge must be taken first. The refuge field can be visualized in detail as in the case of Father Hevajra, or briefly as the embodiment of the Three Jewels.
