The realm of activity: It is not the manifest realm of worldly beings, but the manifest realm of activity solely for the transcendent noble ones. The cause: It arises from the root of virtue that is superior even among those who have completely transcended the world. Firstly, it is without fault, utterly pure, and by the power of the aspirations of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, it can be transformed into golden houses, beryl houses, and so forth, as desired. It is the nature of consciousness only, a mere appearance of mind, and its master is the abode of the Tathagata. The retinue: Possessing a Sangha of Bodhisattvas, with the Tathagata as the master, which is the intention of the retinue. The attendants: Limitless gods and others who wander about. Among the gods, there may be those with characteristics, while the nagas and others are emanations of the Tathagata. Steadfastness: With the joy of the essence of the sacred Dharma and the steadfastness of great bliss, here the meaning of steadfastness is to be taken as expansion and fulfillment. Activity: Abiding closely to perfectly accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings. Benefiting: Separated from all stains of afflictive harm, it becomes the gateway to benefit and happiness. Fearlessness: Completely abandoning all maras. Abode: Superior to the arrangement of all houses, it is the abode of the arrangement of all Tathagatas. The path: Those who travel there will certainly emerge from the path of mindfulness, intelligence, and great realization. The other: Those who travel there ride upon the vehicle of tranquility and insight. The gate: Upon entering that place, one enters through the three gates of liberation. Perfect foundation: The king of jewels, the lotus, adorned with limitless qualities such as its expanse and color, serves as the foundation for the base of the palace. Manifestation of the seat: In the center of that immeasurable palace, upon a lotus seat, is placed a jeweled lion throne. The lotus and the throne are in accordance with the name of the Tathagata, and up to the holy ones who protect the sacred Dharma, the aspirations of each of the holy ones seated upon the seat are unique, their power is complete, and they are purely beautiful, not vulgar objects that are incompatible with the gods. Manifestation of the offerings: Inside and outside the palace, all the possessions and... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moreover, may it be filled abundantly and endowed with adornment and splendor with the holy implements of gods and humans, such as food. Afterwards, may all the noble ones gather upon such implements, and according to their respective wishes and desires, may they be blessed and enjoyed. The 'inner and outer' mentioned above, the first refers not only to all external aspects but also to all internal aspects. The second refers to the lotus seat not only conforming to the image of the deity but also the implements conforming to the image. Repeatedly mentioning the power of truth refers to the truth of the Three Jewels, and so on. After that, the invocation is spoken, and then the contemplation of being seated, that is, from their respective pure lands, and so on. In the center of the immeasurable palace, there is an eight-petaled lotus, with the center containing the book of sutras detailing the special features of the past aspirations of the Seven Tathagatas. On each of the eight petals, a lion throne is arranged, upon which the Eight Tathagatas sit, facing the book. On the cloth outside the eight petals, thirty-six thousand Bodhisattvas, or countless Bodhisattvas, who appear from the introduction of this sutra, sit in order of inner and outer rows of hundreds or thousands. Among the rows of Bodhisattvas, those in front, near the bodies of the Tathagatas, sit in a manner that encourages the vows and promises of the Tathagatas from the past and expands their activities. On the third cloth, on the outer cloth of the row of Bodhisattvas, from the perspective of the main object of support, on the left side are the leaders of the Yakshas, and on the right side are Brahma and Indra. At the four gates, the Four Great Kings sit facing inward. If all heights were the same, the ones in the back would obscure the ones in front, so the cloth on which the Buddhas sit in the center is very high, the middle cloth is the lowest, and the third cloth is lower, which is easy to understand. At the time of offering, there are three types of offerings: what is actually arranged are offering water and anointing oil, and so on. What exists in the world is: in the ten directions of the world, the holy objects of gods and humans that are not possessed, the abundant implements of happiness, uncultivated crops, and wish-fulfilling trees. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
