What is the difference between these two? During the invocation, is it the Samaya-sattva (dam tshig pa) or the Jnana-sattva (ye shes pa) that is invoked? If only a seat is set up, is it the Rupakaya (gzugs kyi sku) that is invoked? If it is like the first case, how is the connection established in the Action Tantra (bya rgyud)? If it is like the second case, after having already resided in the palace (gzhal yas khang), why are there still words of invocation afterwards? Similarly, what clear basis is there in the Sutras (mdo sde) for merely reciting the names of the Seven Tathagatas (de bzhin gshegs pa bdun) and prostrating seven times? Is the Dharani (gzungs) called 'Vaidurya Light' (b+hai DU:r+yai 'od) the exclusive Dharani of the Medicine Buddha (sman pa'i rgyal po), or is it a common Dharani of all eight Buddhas? If it belongs to the former, then when adopting this Dharani in the ritual, what is the Dharani-Mantra (gzungs sngags) that is based on the Seven Tathagatas? Also, where is the clear Sutra source for the Mantra 'oM bhe Sha Dz+ye bhe Sha Dz+ye ma hA bhe Sha Dz+ye bhe Sha Dz+ye radz+za samuद्ga te svAhA' being the Mantra of the Medicine Buddha? In the liberation (skyabs grol) ritual, is the statement that seven Buddha images should be made referring to the Medicine Buddha alone, or to the Seven Tathagatas in general? Furthermore, in the treatise composed by the Abbot (mkhan po), it is said that reciting the name of Shakyamuni Buddha (shAkya thub pa) and constructing his image is a component of this ritual. What clear basis is there for this in the Sutras? Also, in that Sutra, it is said that as part of this ritual, one should prostrate to the Sutra itself and recite this King of Sutras (mdo sde'i dbang po) forty-nine times. Which part of the ritual's text indicates that this should be done? Does merely saying 'recite forty-nine times' accomplish the recitation? Is a separate reciter needed? Also, when making offerings to the Dharma Jewel (chos dkon mchog), does the Dharma Jewel refer to the scriptural teachings (lung) or the realized teachings (rtogs)? If it is the former, does it refer only to the scriptural teachings themselves, or specifically to this Sutra? Furthermore, why are Manjushri ('jam dpal) and Deliverance, etc., who are other questioners and answerers in this Sutra, regarded as deities of the Mandala (dkyil 'khor) and objects of offering, while Ananda (kun dga' bo) is not mentioned? Does the return of consciousness (rnam par shes pa) after forty-nine days refer to the return of the consciousness of the deceased, or to the prolongation of life? Where is the basis for identifying Deliverance as the Noble Avalokiteshvara ('phags pa spyan ras gzigs dbang phyug)? What is the evidence for this? Are there descriptions of someone named 'Deliverance' in other Sutra and Tantra (mdo rgyud) texts? These words are the direct explanation of the Panchen Lama's (paN chen) ritual treatise and the arrangement of what comes from the Sutras. I hope to understand it as it is. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again asked: Criticizing the ritual scriptures is not for the sake of belittling others. Knowing this, merely reading it will accomplish this satisfying ritual. Do not defile it with ignorant words, please recite according to the ritual scriptures. Never add to it, where will subtraction reveal the ritual? The way to worship only the Medicine King, as explained by the Protector of Liberation. Just like this, this is also a letter sent by the Venerable Shakya, the monk with excellent qualities and good wisdom, from Yarumon's vision and aspiration, to all directions. In these letters, the good teachings derived from it have been explained. In these words of Panchen, there are also some places worthy of contemplation and analysis by those with wisdom, but I will not elaborate on them here. If you really need it, I will explain it separately. Now the practical guidance of the ritual. The third part, the practical guidance of the current ritual: I will explain how to practice from 'The Ritual of Offering to the Sugatas: Increasing Merit,' written by the great accomplished master predicted by Gyalwa, the venerable Ngorchen Dorje Chang Kunga Zangpo, that is: As it is said: Namo Buddhaya (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Homage to the Buddha,汉语字面意思). The Teacher, the Bhagavan, the Master of beings, I respectfully bow to the Buddha and his retinue of disciples. In order to correctly understand the intention of the scriptures, I will determine here the order of the offering ritual of the Eight Sugatas. Here, the Venerable Bodhisattva Shantarakshita, in the memorial service of the Dharma King Trisong Detsen, performed the ritual of the Seven Tathagatas and the ritual of Ushnishavijaya. First, if you want to practice, it is divided into three parts: preliminary, main, and concluding. The first is: clean the ground and smear it with incense water in a circular shape, and arrange the flowers as described below. If you want to be more refined, you can use colored powder, that is, use colored powder to make a square mandala with four doors, decorated with four horse heads, surrounded by a lotus garland, and surrounded by five-colored rays. In the center is a three-layered lotus, the first layer has eight petals, the middle layer has sixteen petals, and the outer layer has twenty-two petals, which is inconsistent with the scriptures. Therefore, here, a white square silk cloth is placed in the center, and around it, two square silk cloths of blue in the east, yellow in the south, red in the west, and green in the north. In the center and eight directions, place flower clusters or colored powder piles, and around it, place one flower in each of the four corners, and three flowers in each of the four directions, a total of sixteen, and around it, on the left side of the east gate... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
