Regarding offerings and the prayers that align with the preceding and subsequent aspirations of these offerings, they can be directly combined with the Sutra. However, the offerings and worship from Shakyamuni Buddha downwards cannot be directly combined with the Sutra, and the other ritual phrases can be found in the direct teachings of the Sutra. The subsequent ritual phrases were personally compiled by Khenpo Bodhisattva (Śāntarakṣita). These contents seem to be a remarkable work by Panchen Lama (Panchen Sonam Drakpa), who clearly demonstrates how to perform the Medicine Buddha offering ritual for the benefit of his disciples, without mixing in self-created content from others. Furthermore, Panchen Golden Color (Panchen Sonam Drakpa) seems to have raised questions about all Medicine Buddha rituals, as follows: Homage to Bhaiṣajyaguru! The king, in order to obtain the status of protecting the country, and to destroy enemy forces and major diseases, makes offerings to the Seven Tathagatas. Now I will ask some necessary points, please listen with compassion! Specifically, starting from the treatise called 'Collected Sutras of the Excellent Ritual of the Past Aspirations of the Tathagatas' written by Bodhisattva Śāntarakṣita, asking some necessary points, that is, from the complete dwelling of the Eight Tathagatas in the center of the immeasurable palace, to the dwelling of the Four Great Kings at the four gates, where does this statement of only one gate of the immeasurable palace come from? In the Sutra called 'Eight Hundred Sutras', it is said that there are seven different structures of immeasurable palaces in seven different Buddha lands, but it does not explain the certainty of these retinues. Furthermore, why is the arising of the immeasurable palace different from that in the Tantras, but arises through aspiration? Also, are all eight Tathagatas the main deities of this mandala? If one of them is the main deity, just as it is explained that the Medicine Buddha is not the main deity of this mandala, then why are seven offerings made at the end of the ritual? If it is explained that all eight are the main deities of the mandala, then where is there a similar example in the Mantrayana of eight main deities appearing simultaneously in the center of one mandala? Also, if Prajñāpāramitā is made the main deity of the mandala, then where is the basis for her being the main deity of that mandala? If, as the scriptures say, the Dharma texts also reside there, then what is the statement and example of the Dharma Jewel residing as the main deity of the mandala, while the Buddha Jewel appears as the retinue? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Where else is it? Was the scripture at that time the Prajnaparamita Sutra? Is it this very Sutra? If it is the former, then where is the source of its knowledge? If it is the latter, then how is the Great Mother (Yumchenmo) related to being placed as the main deity of the mandala? Even so, where is that scripture placed? If it is done according to the way the Medicine Buddha Palace is built, how can it not be reversed when the eight Tathagatas (Deshin Shekpa Gye) face outwards? Even if it is so in writing, but in meditation, the faces of the eight Tathagatas are to be shown inwards towards the Dharma Jewel (Chö Könchok), then why is the offering to the main deity of the mandala, the Dharma Jewel, described as the last of the eight attendants? Why does the author explain the invocation of the attendants without explaining the invocation of the main deity of the mandala, the Dharma Jewel? If it is desired to show the offering of the Dharma Jewel in 'The Teachings of the Tathagatas,' etc., then which of the three, scripture, realization, or Dharmadhatu, does the Dharma refer to in that context? Here, the Sutra says that this very Sutra should be recited and offered for forty-nine days, but here, only one phrase, such as 'The Teachings of the Tathagatas,' is shown, and how does reciting the words of prostration and offering become an offering to the Dharma Jewel? What does the cloth in the middle refer to? Does this phrase 'blessing the ground' come from the Sutra or was it composed by the author? When blessing, is this ground blessed into the nature of that, or is it a prayer for another pure land (Zhingzhen) to appear here? If it is the latter, then what is the reason for needing to prepare the earth goddess, etc., at this time? If it is not needed, then how do these words of blessing the ground relate to the desire to show the tantric mandala? If it is the former, then is it blessed after the mandala has been built, or is the mandala built after it has been blessed? If it is the latter, then why is it necessary to dig the ground, etc.? Furthermore, if it is thought that it is only a Sutra ritual and there is no conflict, then how can an ordinary practitioner invite the Buddhas of other realms to this realm without relying on tantric rituals? Also, what is the special necessity for explaining the preparation of the vase? The difference in time between seven days and forty-nine days, and the definite explanation from the eighth to the fifteenth of the following month. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
