Although many methods appear, here, it is done according to the words of Gyalsé Thokmé (རྒྱལ་སྲས་ཐོགས་མེད་པ,Gyalsé Thokmé). 4-782 Then, the general prostrations and individual prostrations with prayers should be done according to the ritual. In the case of Shakyamuni Buddha (ཤཱཀ་ཐུབ,Shakya Thuk), recite one hundred and eight scriptures; in the case of Vajrapani (ཕྱག་རྡོར,Chakdor), recite two hundred dharanis; recite the Golden Light Sutra (གསེར་བཟང,Serzang) ritual as much as possible. In all prayer sessions, include your own or others' names. Then, the meaning of reciting dharanis and bathing: using the previous vase, purify with 'Om Vajra Vajra' (ཏདྱ་ཐཱ། བཛྲེ་བཛྲེ,Tadyatha. Vajre Vajre) etc., and cleanse with 'Svabhava' (སྭ་བྷ་ཝ,Svabhava). From emptiness, from Bhrum (བྷྲཱུྃ,Bhrum, seed syllable,Sanskrit: Bhrum,Romanized Sanskrit: Bhrum, meaning: emptiness) arises a precious vase, complete with all characteristics, in which from Hrih (ཧྲིཿ,Hrih, seed syllable,Sanskrit: Hrih,Romanized Sanskrit: Hrih, meaning: compassion) arises a lotus, and from Am (ཨཱྃ,Am,seed syllable,Sanskrit: Am,Romanized Sanskrit: Am,meaning: emptiness) arises a moon mandala, in the center are Bhrum (བྷྲཱུྃ,Bhrum), Am (ཨཱྃ,Am), Drim (ཛྲཱིྃ,Drim, seed syllable,Sanskrit: Drim,Romanized Sanskrit: Drim, meaning: light), Kham (ཁཱྃ,Kham, seed syllable,Sanskrit: Kham,Romanized Sanskrit: Kham, meaning: emptiness), and Hum (ཧཱུྃ,Hum,seed syllable,Sanskrit: Hum,Romanized Sanskrit: Hum,meaning: wisdom), radiating five immaculate rays of light. Or visualize being surrounded by a chain of mantras, offer the offerings of 'Noble Assembly' etc., and pray: 'Possessing immeasurable merits and power, Medicine Buddha (དཔལ་བཻ་ཌཱུཪྻ,Pal Beidurya), please bless me or the one being practiced for (name), to complete the accumulations, purify the obscurations, and generate special realizations in the mindstream.' Then, holding the mantra cord, recite, and the chain of mantras goes through the mantra cord and strikes the water in the conch, 4-783 dripping into the vase and dissolving into the syllables, visualizing it transforming into wisdom nectar. Recite 'Om Ghume Ghume' (ཏདྱ་ཐཱ། གྷུ་མེ,Tadyatha. Ghume) etc., and 'Om Namo Bhagavate Bhaishajye Guru Beidurya' (ཨོཾ་ན་མོ་བྷ་ག་ཝ་ཏེ་བྷྱཻ་ཥ་ཛྱེ་གུ་རུ་བཻ་ཌཱུཪྻ,Om Namo Bhagavate Bhaishajye Guru Beidurya) etc. about three hundred times, and finally offer as before, offer the conch water and pray that the syllables dissolve into water. Finally, bathe yourself, and if it is needed for others, perform the bathing and increase auspiciousness. These are written according to the view of Chim (མཆིམས,Chims). If there is no one else to recite the sutras at this time, then recite the Prajnaparamita Sutra (ཤེར་ཕྱིན,Sherchin) and the Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra (མདོ་བརྒྱད་བརྒྱ་པ,Do Gyagpa) here, which is said to be recited forty-nine times, as much as possible. The third part is the conclusion: in general, offer whatever offerings are available, which is a thanksgiving offering. From the previous 'ten directions and three times' to 'please pray', then recite the Seven Buddhas Sutra (དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་བདུན,Dezhin Shegpa Dün) etc., and after completing the prayer, make loud auspicious sounds and music. If these are not included in the ritual, it will cause the ritual to be incomplete, so it is necessary to add praises, offerings, and prayers to each deity as appropriate. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Furthermore, offering Torma in the context of the directional guardians and Yakshas, these rituals become elaborate, and there is no conflict in doing them, nor is there any fault of ritual deficiency in not doing them. Some people turn the images of the deities upside down, calling it a 'palace', arrange offerings according to the Bon tradition, perform preliminary offering blessings, and in the context of the four blessing cycles, incorporate the words of chanting into the ritual, performing the invocation. In the context of Shakyamuni Buddha, incorporate the ritual of the Sixteen Arhats; in the context of the Dharma Jewel, incorporate the prostration offerings to the Buddhas of the ten directions; in the context of the Refuge Protector, incorporate the prostration offerings to the five deities of Amoghapasha; universally perform prostrations and in the context of thanksgiving, incorporate the prostrations of the Kadampa lineage, and so on, making many irrelevant praises. Especially when performing rituals for the deceased, after the invocation, place the memorial tablet or offerings, and then perform everything from dispelling obstacles to taking refuge, perform bathing and detoxification during bathing, and finally recite the prayers of the twelve zodiac animals. Claiming it to be the subsequent initiation of the Sambhogakaya of Bhaisajyaguru, they then incorporate a simplified version of the four initiations of the Anuttarayoga Tantra, claiming it to be its completion stage, and then perform some Bindu and mind-holding yoga, consuming meat, alcohol, garlic, onions, and afternoon meals during the ritual, etc. These are all fabrications mixed in by foolish people, and wise and intelligent people who want to obtain benefits should avoid them like poison. In addition, claiming it to be the initiation of the emanation body of Bhaisajyaguru, there are also some rituals that imitate the Guru Yoga, but because it is only reciting the lineage, it is very similar, but it is also necessary to observe whether the Buddhas are integrated into one, and so on. In summary, the ritual of Geshe (Gesh, Tibetan: དགེ་བའི་བཤེས་གཉེན།, Sanskrit: kalyāṇamitra, meaning: virtuous friend) Chim. The ritual of Geshe Chim has three versions: extensive, medium, and concise. Here it is said to be the medium ritual, and some say that the extensive ritual is because many words of invoking the directional guardians, etc., are added during the invocation, and the arrangement of offerings is simply made more elaborate. The concise ritual is because the occasion of universal prostration is separated out, so the extensive and concise rituals were done by some Kadampas, not by Khenpo Shantarakshita, they say. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
