称念彼等名号的利益有四种：往昔因恶业之力，生于邪见之家，远离不信三宝、不作意菩提心，彼业障得以清净，对三宝生起信心，增长正见，作意菩提心； 听闻法云与海涛之声，往昔恶业得以完全清净，所需受用无需思索即能获得；不卷入争斗之事，对自己拥有的财物和受用感到满足。 此外，经中说：‘世尊、如来、应供、正等觉 妙法海慧如来之名，听闻、受持、信奉、恭敬供养者，一切罪业皆得清净，于成佛之菩提道永不退转； 生生世世皆能忆念前世，永不离菩提心，生生世世皆能与如来相遇，恒常无病长寿；从此命终之后，得生于彼佛世界，且永不堕恶趣；无论生于何处，无需思索即能获得衣物、饰品、香、鬘、涂香、卧具、医药等生活所需、受用与权势。’ 称念神通王如来名号的利益有四种：从耕作、播种等恶业中解脱，恒常行持善法，无需思索即能获得一切所需； 从造作十不善业堕入地狱的恶道中解脱，具足十善业道；从受他人支配，遭受砍截、鞭打、监禁、杀害等痛苦中解脱；一切罪业得以清净，得生善趣天界，享受天人之乐。 称念药王如来名号的利益有两种：身体丑陋、根不具足、容貌丑陋、痴呆、肢体残缺、驼背、麻脸、盲人等得以解脱。

The benefits of reciting their names are fourfold: Due to the power of past evil deeds, one is born into a family with wrong views, far from not believing in the Three Jewels and not contemplating Bodhicitta. That karmic obscuration is purified, faith in the Three Jewels arises, right view increases, and Bodhicitta is contemplated; Hearing the sound of Dharma clouds and ocean waves, past evil deeds are completely purified, and the desired enjoyments are obtained without any thought; one does not get involved in strife, and is content with one's own possessions and enjoyments. Furthermore, the sutra says: 'The name of the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha Dharmakirti Sagaraghosa, those who hear, hold, believe, and respectfully offer to, all their sins will be purified, and they will never regress from the Bodhi path of Buddhahood; In all lifetimes, they will be able to remember their past lives, they will never be separated from Bodhicitta, in all lifetimes they will meet the Tathagata, they will always be healthy and long-lived; after death from here, they will be born in that Buddha's world, and they will never fall into evil realms; wherever they are born, without thinking, they will obtain clothes, ornaments, incense, garlands, perfumes, bedding, medicine for the sick, and the necessities of life, enjoyments, and power.' The benefits of reciting the name of Abhijna Raja Tathagata are fourfold: one is liberated from evil deeds such as farming and sowing seeds, constantly practices virtuous Dharma, and obtains all necessities without thinking; One is liberated from the evil path of falling into hell by committing the ten non-virtuous deeds, and is endowed with the path of the ten virtuous deeds; one is liberated from the suffering of being controlled by others, being cut off, beaten, imprisoned, killed, and so on; all sins are purified, and one is born in the happy realm of heaven, enjoying the happiness of gods and humans. The benefits of reciting the name of Bhaisajya Raja Tathagata are twofold: one is liberated from having an ugly body, incomplete faculties, an ugly appearance, being dull-witted, having defective limbs, being hunchbacked, having a pockmarked face, or being blind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

再者，对于那些因眼盲、耳聋、疯狂以及各种疾病缠身的人，如果他们听闻药师如来的名号，就能恢复健全的感官和完整的肢体。对于那些被各种疾病折磨、无依无靠、没有依靠、缺乏资财和药物、没有支持、贫穷困苦的人，如果他们听闻药师如来的名号，所有疾病都将彻底平息，直至证得菩提，都将无病无灾。这是因为这位如来往昔所发的十二大愿中的第六愿和第七愿所产生的名号利益。其余的十个大愿，则是关于成佛时，以身光照亮世间等愿。 此外，还有七种利益：那些极度吝啬，转生为饿鬼和畜生的人，如果他们前世曾为人，听闻过药师如来的名号，由于前世的习气，在今世的转生中会显现出药师如来的名号，仅仅是忆念，就能立即舍报，转生到人间。在人间，他们会忆起前世，因畏惧恶道的痛苦而舍弃所有财产。 那些受持戒律后又毁犯，或者虽持戒律却不精通经藏，对经义迷惑，或者虽广学多闻却因傲慢而诽谤正法，因此堕入地狱的人，如果他们前世曾为人，听闻过药师如来的名号，由于前世的习气，在今世的转生中会显现出药师如来的名号，仅仅是忆念，就能立即舍报，转生到人间。在人间，他们会出家，学习所有的戒律。 那些因嫉妒而自赞毁他，因此遭受三恶道等诸多痛苦的人，如果他们前世曾为人，听闻过药师如来的名号，由于前世的习气，在今世的转生中会显现出药师如来的名号，他们会立即舍弃痛苦和恶趣，逐渐进入所有善法。 那些被恶咒所害，或受邪魔、罗刹等伤害的人，将不会再受到侵扰。 如果有人能坚持一年或三个月学习戒律的基础，并祈愿往生极乐世界，那么听闻药师如来名号的人……

Furthermore, those who are blind, deaf, mad, and afflicted with various diseases, upon hearing the name of the Medicine Buddha (Bhaiṣajyaguru), will have their senses restored and their limbs become complete. Those who are tormented by various diseases, without refuge or protection, lacking resources and medicine, without support, poor and suffering, upon hearing the name of the Medicine Buddha, all their diseases will be completely pacified, and until they attain enlightenment (bodhi), they will be free from illness and harm. This is because the sixth and seventh of the twelve great vows made by this Tathagata in the past generate these benefits of the name. The other ten vows are about illuminating the world with the light of the body when becoming a Buddha, and so on. In addition, there are seven kinds of benefits: Those who are extremely stingy and reborn as hungry ghosts (pretas) and animals, if they were humans in their previous lives and heard the name of the Medicine Buddha, due to the habits of their previous lives, the name of the Medicine Buddha will manifest in that rebirth, and merely by remembering it, they will immediately pass away and be reborn in the human realm. In the human realm, they will remember their previous lives and, fearing the suffering of the lower realms, will give away all their possessions. Those who break the precepts after taking them, or those who, although upholding the precepts, are not learned in the sutras and are confused about the meaning of the scriptures, or those who, although learned, slander the Dharma due to arrogance, and therefore fall into hell, if they were humans in their previous lives and heard the name of the Medicine Buddha, due to the habits of their previous lives, the name of the Medicine Buddha will manifest in that rebirth, and merely by remembering it, they will immediately pass away and be reborn in the human realm. In the human realm, they will become monks and study all the precepts. Those who, due to jealousy, constantly praise themselves and disparage others, and therefore experience much suffering in the three lower realms, if they were humans in their previous lives and heard the name of the Medicine Buddha, due to the habits of their previous lives, the name of the Medicine Buddha will manifest in that rebirth, and they will immediately abandon suffering and evil rebirths and gradually enter all virtuous dharmas. Those who are harmed by evil spells or by yakshas (gnomes), rakshasas (demons), and other harmful beings will no longer be harmed. If someone can uphold the basis of the precepts for a year or three months and aspire to be reborn in Sukhavati (the Pure Land of Amitabha), then those who hear the name of the Medicine Buddha... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
