Then, he offered the gifts to his father, the king. At the age of thirty-five, at Chimphu Drakmar Gye'u Gong, he confessed all his sins before the great master Padmasambhava. He received the Vajrakumara (རྡོ་རྗེ་གཞོན་ནུ།) initiation and the introduction to the oral instructions, and through practicing them, he beheld the face of Vajrakumara. The wishes of the king and his son were finally fulfilled, and the kingdom was established in peace. Thus, this great Dharma protector, following the manner of pursuing the aforementioned sacred objects brought from the Bhatta Hor monastic college, came to glorious Samye Monastery. His names are various: the Kashmiri master Vimalamitra called him 'King Tiger Head'. The Nepalese master Humkara called him 'War God Who Subdues All Enemies'. The Chinese master Mahayana called him 'Demon King Tsenpo'. The Hor region's master Lhaje Woser called him 'King Wooden Staff'. Furthermore, he is also called 'Black Matrika', 'Yaksa King Tse'u Marpo', 'Great King Pehar'. The right-side leader is one hundred warriors dressed in tiger skins, the left-side leader is one hundred Sravaka Arhats. The rear guard is one hundred black-robed monks, the vanguard is one hundred black-skinned women, the outer ministers are one hundred Kaharas, the inner ministers are one hundred Monbu Putras, the body's kyosang (སྐྱོ་སང་) are one hundred Gar 'bag Senges (གར་འབག་སེང་གེ་), the emanation's further emanations are one hundred monkeys and birds, and so on, along with countless retinues, following after the offerings and deities. Then, Master Padmasambhava installed the deity in Pehar Kormodzong and bound him by oath to protect the general glorious Samye Lhunkyi Drupai Tsuglhakhang, as well as all the temples for subduing the borders and further subduing the borders. As the oath stated, the Dharma protector Wish-Fulfilling Jewel also accepted his request. At that time, Master Padmasambhava instructed the translators Vairochana, Nub Namkhai Nyingpo, Ba Yeshe Wangpo, and others, aiming to protect the teachings in the future, to translate countless sadhanas (སྒྲུབ་ཐབས།) from the Eight Classes of Gods and Demons, including the white Gying, the black Demon, the red Tsen, the life-cutting Yaksha, the flesh-eating Rakshasa, the disease-spreading Mamo, the fierce Graha, and the malicious Naga.

The general protector, the glorious Mahakala (Tibetan: དཔལ་མགོན་པོ་ནག་པོ་, meaning: glorious black protector), the glorious black goddess (Tibetan: དཔལ་ལྷ་མོ་ནག་མོ་, meaning: glorious black goddess), and the tantras and sadhanas of the three black-purple protectors, as well as the guides of demons, and the tantras and sadhanas of Gying Dorje Lekpa (Tibetan: གྱིང་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལེགས་པ, meaning: Gying Vajra Good), etc. Also, relying on the planets that control the sky, one can bring down hail, frost, meteorites, and lightning. Relying on the Naga demons that control humans, one can spread curses of various leprosy diseases. After translating countless wrathful mantras like these, Guru Rinpoche entrusted them to the king as a tool to protect the Dharma in the degenerate age. Then, the king was very happy, riding a horse led by Tsalbu Jadong (Tibetan: ཚལ་བུ་བྱ་གདོང, transliterated name), the king offered six horses to the master, with saddles adorned with gold and jewels, lion skin cushions, brocade saddle pads with Chinese-style patterns, a jar of gold coins, a jar of jade, and a blue, radiant turquoise from the king's neck, etc., to Guru Rinpoche, and prostrated many times. Guru Rinpoche, in order to allow the king's mind to accumulate vast amounts of merit and wisdom, accepted these offerings, and Guru Rinpoche was very pleased, and the king and all the subjects were immersed in joy. The following are the verses summarizing these contents: The emanation Dharma King, supreme with blooming Utpala flowers, (Tibetan: ཨུཏྤལ་སྔོ་ལྡན་སྤྲུལ་པ་ཆོས་རྒྱལ་ཆེས།), The monastery established with great aspiration, (Tibetan: རླབས་ཆེན་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་ལས་གྲུབ་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་།), Whose protector is unparalleled, (Tibetan: གང་གི་སྲུང་མ་འགྲན་ཟླ་བྲལ་བ་ཞིག), When you have a wish in your heart, pray to the great Guru Rinpoche. At that time, the one who sees the past, present, and future without obstruction, (Tibetan: དེ་ཚེ་དུས་གསུམ་སྒྲིབ་མེད་གཟིགས་པ་ཡི།), Guru Rinpoche, according to the prophecy, from the great practice place in the Hor region of Mongolia, (Tibetan: པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་གསུང་བཞིན་ཧོར་ཡུལ་གྱི།), invited you, the protector of the Dharma. This is what some scholars of Samye Monastery said. The so-called Samye Monastery now, (Tibetan: སྤྱན་དྲངས་བསམ་ཡས་མཁས་པ་འགའ་ཞིག་གི་གསུང་ལས། ད་ལྟ་བསམ་ཡས་ཟེར་བ་དང་།), and Zabyang Monastery (Tibetan: ཟབ་ཡངས་ཟེར་བ་), these are not correct. The real name is Zanyang Unchanging Spontaneously Accomplished Monastery (Tibetan: ཟན་གཡངས་མི་འགྱུར་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་དག་སྟེ།), Zan (Tibetan: ཟན་) means three, and Yang (Tibetan: གཡངས་) is the name of the style, which is a Chinese term. It means that the three styles at the top are unchanging, and the monastery is spontaneously accomplished. Although there is such a record, it still needs further verification. Arrived spontaneously. At that time, with inconceivable power and strength, (Tibetan: དུས་དེར་མཐུ་སྟོབས་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་བསམ་ཡས་པའི།), Guru Rinpoche, in the White Gar Treasury's, (Tibetan: སློབ་དཔོན་ཆེན་པོས་སྤེ་དཀར་སྐོར་མཛོད་ཀྱི།), place established your statue, (Tibetan: གླིང་དུ་བཀའ་སྲུང་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་རྟེན་བཙུགས་ནས།), and appointed you as the protector of all monasteries. From that time on, in this snowy land, (Tibetan: དེ་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་གངས་ཅན་ཁྲོད་འདི་རུ།), all the powerful spirits, above and below the ground, (Tibetan: སྟོབས་ལྡན་འབྱུང་པོ་ས་འོག་ས་བླ་དང་།), and the arrogant worldly beings wandering on the ground.
