Although Ngagwang Kunga Rinchen, the Mantra Holder and Dharma King, stated in his writings that these histories were the oral transmission of Salo Jampel Dorje, in reality, there is no doubt that the Mantra Holder himself is an emanation of Vairochana. This must be a biography recalling previous lives. I have heard these words many times from my guru, named Jampal Wangpo. Then, the master was invited to the palace and seated on a golden सिंहासन (Tibetan: གསེར་གྱི་ཁྲི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सिंहासन, Sanskrit Romanization: simhasana, Chinese literal meaning: golden throne), offered wine, food, and various worldly gifts. He sat wearing a purple cloak of ज़ाओ (Tibetan: ཟ་འོག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज़ाओ, Sanskrit Romanization: zao, Chinese literal meaning: ज़ाओ). Then, the king made offerings and prayed, saying: ཨེ་མ་ཧོཿ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: एमाहो, Sanskrit Romanization: emaho, Chinese literal meaning: Amazing!)! Amazing! Lord of compassion! I am the king of Tibet, the Sanskrit Romanization: lāla mukha, Chinese literal meaning: red face). The people of Tibet are difficult to subdue, please create a symbol of the sacred Dharma. Master, you have come as an emanation, please bless this land.’ Having heard these words, the master said, ‘King, ruler of Tibet, you have done well! Tibet is inhabited by the ghosts of Yaksa men and women, so it is necessary to place a treasure of dragons.’ So, he placed the treasure of dragons in Madro Zizhen and performed the ritual of reclaiming the land. After that, he went to the palace Haspo Ri, placed a Kapala bowl filled with water in Samadhi, and the master sang this song of subduing gods and demons: ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum)! I am Padmasambhava, the Lotus Vajra unstained by the womb. No one can harm me, I have attained the Tsewang Rigdzin. Body, speech, and mind all manifest as deities, I subdue the arrogant with majesty. Cutting through the clinging to gods and demons, there is no sin even in destruction. In the vast expanse of the sky, all the gods and eight classes can be accommodated. Accommodate, accommodate, ever expanding. In the mandala of the emptiness of mind, there is neither god nor demon. No matter what miracles you display, my mind is like a rock, unshaken. This great offering Torma, I create with Samadhi, I bless with Mantra, so that each may receive their due. Subdue with Mudra, there is no struggle of victory or defeat. Declare and dedicate with words of truth. Accept this, grant the land. Trisong Detsen, fulfill your wishes. Build temples, all gods and demons, do not disobey my command, the Mantra Holder. གུམ་གུམ་ཆུམ་ཆུམ་ལས་ལ་འདུར། (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुम गुम चुम चुम लस ल दु, Sanskrit Romanization: gum gum chum chum las la dur, Chinese literal meaning: Rolling, humming, get to work!)’ Having said this, all the arrogant gods and demons offered their life essence and took vows. At that time, Yarzhü of Bere Tang did not gather there, so... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the governor came to the foot of Tanglha (name of a mountain god), he struck the master Padmasambhava (founder of Tibetan Buddhism) with lightning. As a result, a lightning bolt struck Padmasambhava's hat and turned into a piece of coal. At that time, Padmasambhava threw lightning upwards, melting the snow on the top of the mountain, so Tanglha Mountain became known as 'melting upwards'. After that, Padmasambhava subdued it with holy water (chab tor). After that, Machen Pomra (name of a mountain god) was unwilling to come. So, Padmasambhava grabbed and pulled his heart with an iron hook mudra. As a result, one of his feet remained in Yarmo Tang in Kham, and the other foot remained in Haspo Ri in Potala. He said, 'Although I am a great god in Kham, because your order, young lama, is too strict, I had no choice but to come here. Now what are your orders?' Padmasambhava said, 'Take this torma (sacrificial cake) and fulfill the will of the ruler.' Machen Pomra also said, 'If I have to do as you order, I like dry things, please give me some dry things.' So, Padmasambhava ground gems in a white container, blessed them and gave them to him, and made a vow. After that, Padmasambhava subdued and conquered the Naga Madrö Zijen (Klu Madrö Zijen), Yarla Shampo (Yarla Shampo), Machen Pomra (Machen Pomra), Gyogchen Dongra (Gyogchen Dongra), the northern goddess Tsunchen Mo (Byangla Tsunchen Mo), Lha Öde Gungyal (Lha Öde Gungyal), and all the gods and demons of Tibet with incredible magical powers, thus conquering the three realms. After that, Padmasambhava went to the place where the monasteries were to be built, and sprinkled mustard seeds in the cracks of the bricks and lit a fire. At that time, King Pekar Lutsa Zamati (Pekar Lutsa Zamati) thought, 'All the land has been occupied by the Zhangpo (Zhangpo), and now it has been taken away by these people, which is not good.' So, he sent an army led by Terang Tongde (Terang Tongde) to destroy it. When they arrived there, the flames burned and could not be destroyed, so they returned. They said, 'King, we cannot destroy it, the flames are burning, and the sparks are flying everywhere.' So, the nine demon brothers (Gongpo) went to destroy it, but the flames still burned, and they told Pekar as before. So, Pekar went there himself, but the flames still burned and could not be destroyed. He thought, 'What is going on?' He was sure that it was today's Monpa (Monpa, referring to Padmasambhava) Acharya (Acharya, master). He wanted to know what mantra he was chanting, so he went to eavesdrop. Padmasambhava knew it and struck his ear with a phurba (ritual dagger), making him deaf. He also wanted to see what rituals and auspicious objects Padmasambhava was doing. When he watched, Padmasambhava knew it and struck his eyes with a phurba, making him blind. Then he wanted to run away quickly, and Padmasambhava knew it and struck his feet with a phurba. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
