Mirror of Clarity. The nature of all phenomena of the wisdom of equalness, the indivisibility of clarity and emptiness, is spontaneously realized in the absence of conceptualization, and all qualities are spontaneously accomplished, which is the accomplishment of action. Such a five-fold wisdom itself, because it abides without contamination by all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, in a state of stainlessness. As stated in the Consequence School: "In the wisdom of primordial purity, there is no existence or name of ignorance; the limits of one and two are exhausted; therefore, delusion is primordially pure." Therefore, because there is no hope for enlightenment above and no fear of falling into the lower realms below, the basis of the Dharmakaya, the primordial purity of awareness, the nature of spontaneously accomplished qualities, is like gold from the beginning, even without contrived effort, it is decisively cut off, which is the recognition of the self-arisen wisdom of awareness. This is the establishment of the alaya and its introduction. Secondly, the introduction of that which has been established is divided into: introducing appearances as mind, introducing mind as emptiness, introducing appearance and emptiness as union, introducing non-duality as self-liberation, and generating certainty in the naked seeing of the introduced awareness, and seeking the measure of certainty. Among the five, the first is: "With profound cutting through, all appearances of samsara and nirvana are introduced as merely the play of mind." Thus, the illusory forms of the basis of samsara, the way of proceeding of the nine vehicles of the path, and all the activities of the Buddha of the result, are the sound or play of this uninterrupted appearance of mind. As stated in the All-Creating King: "The body, wisdom, and qualities of the Buddha, the karma and habitual tendencies of sentient beings, and all that is included in appearances and existence, the container and its contents, are primordially the nature of the mind of enlightenment." Thus, the agent of all is not separate from the mind, like a bubble arising from water, there is no need to seek it elsewhere, therefore, one should meditate until certainty is found that appearances are mind. This is considered to be in accordance with the view of the Mind-Only school. Secondly, introducing mind as emptiness is: "Whatever various appearances of mind arise, their own nature is the state of emptiness, free from elaboration." Thus, the nature of mind is emptiness, the Dharmakaya, and although the uninterrupted appearance of mind is the self-display of its own power, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana appear unceasingly, yet the nature of phenomena is emptiness, free from all extremes of elaboration. As it is said: "Whatever is emptiness

It is permissible. Therefore, if one knows this, one will not be harmed by afflictions temporarily, and the root of error will be cut off from the root. From clinging to the real existence of permanence, to finally determining that the nature of mind is emptiness, for example, like mist and rivers being recognized as moist, this is considered to be in accordance with the Madhyamaka view. Third, introducing the union of appearance and emptiness: Because appearance and emptiness have no differences such as good and bad, early and late, etc., in the state of inseparable union. As it is said, all phenomena are the appearance that arises in the mind, and the emptiness of the nature of mind as the basis of appearance, the two are inseparable, and at the time of emptiness, appearance is not blocked, and when thoughts such as the five poisons arise as the path, its nature clearly appears as emptiness. At the time of appearance, the phenomena that appear are like illusory horses and cows, and are non-existent in essence, so emptiness is not abandoned, and if one clearly knows that appearance and emptiness are inseparable, afflictions will be liberated into wisdom. As it is said in the "Union of Sun and Moon Sutra": Who can realize that the phenomena that appear as objects have no self-nature? For this person, appearance and emptiness are not dual. Because these two have no inherent good or bad, no different abodes, and no temporal priority. Therefore, realizing that the essence is inseparable, samsara and nirvana are one, all phenomena are liberated in union, and being free from the dualistic grasping of subject and object, determining that appearance and emptiness are non-dual, like the taste of brown sugar, which cannot be distinguished separately, this is considered to be in accordance with the Tantric view. Fourth, introducing non-duality as self-liberation: Starting from clinging to mere union, the mind is inherently pure, and awareness is the Dharmakaya. As such, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are merely illusory appearances of the mind, and in order to know that this is not mistaken, even if it is introduced as union, awareness is in the realm of the great primordial purity, free from elaboration. Moreover, it is said in the "Muti Garland": The difference between mind and wisdom should be known by the wise. As it is said, mind and awareness are different in all aspects. The mind of the alaya is temporary conventional truth, has the elaboration of object appearance, is a conditioned phenomenon arising from causes and conditions, has dualistic clinging thoughts, it resides in the chest, and is drawn by karma wind. It comes out from the doors of the senses and enjoys the objects of the eight consciousnesses. The function is under the influence of the delusion of true clinging.
