Like an illusion, establishing the vows of the Svatantrika school, and the Prasangika school, which refutes even the conventional truth that is acknowledged, in the treatises of the Yogacara school of self-emptiness and other-emptiness, it is said that the basis of emptiness, other-powered nature, is empty of what is to be negated, the imputed nature, and that the perfected nature is established. And in the Ratnagotravibhāga, etc., it is said that the suchness of phenomena, the perfected nature, appears in two ways: as being empty of what is to be negated, the imputed nature, and that the perfected nature is the essence of ultimate reality, the dharmadhatu, that there is no newly established perfected nature, that it is naturally pure and spontaneously accomplished, and that the phenomena of momentary deluded appearances, the phenomena of grasping and clinging, are not established in their essence, so conventional truth is empty of its own nature, and that since this is different from ultimate reality, it is said to be empty of the nature of other-ultimate reality. As it says in the Ratnagotravibhāga: "That which has the characteristic of distinctions, the realm of momentary stains is empty, that which has the characteristic of no distinctions, is not empty of the supreme Dharma." In short, if measured from the side of conventional truth, it is emptiness of negation and non-affirmation, and if measured from the side of ultimate reality, the dharmadhatu, it is empty of objects that are known by others than oneself. So, what is the intention of saying that ultimate reality is empty of its own nature? It refers to the fact that it is not established as it is grasped by the mind when focused on ultimate reality. Therefore, the wisdom of listening is very important, as it is said: "Wisdom is supreme, its basis is listening, therefore listening is supreme." The wisdom that arises from contemplation, which generates faith, is very important to closely examine the meaning of the words that are heard, so do not remain in a rough generality, but examine it with the reasoning that is joined by scriptural authority and the power of things, and the three ways that are not contradictory to what came before and after. As it says in the Four Hundred Verses: "Whatever is well and clearly spoken with scripture and reason, and is not contradictory to what came before and after, is fully embraced by the holy ones." The wisdom that arises from meditation is, the view of the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma of the Buddhas is, that meditating on emptiness is not meditating on anything, and realizing suchness is not seeing anything, and it is explained that the definitive meaning is non-affirmation. And the intention of the final turning of the wheel of Dharma, the treatises of the Maitreya teachings, the explanation of the brothers Asanga and Vasubandhu, and what Nagarjuna explained in the Collection of Praises, the non-dual wisdom of grasping and clinging, is said to be experienced through meditation.

I believe that this is in accordance with the profound tantric scriptures. Here, one should focus on the profound view of Trekchö of Dzogchen. The third is the discipline of benefiting sentient beings: Among the three vows, the discipline of benefiting sentient beings has four means of gathering. First, by giving, one gathers disciples well. Then, by speaking pleasantly, one tames their minds. Guiding them to the nine vehicles is beneficial conduct. To lead them, one also engages in that conduct. As it says, first, one tames their minds with material generosity and pleasant speech that generates joy. Just as one gradually nourishes a child with soft and coarse food, since those with different mental capacities cannot be matured by one Dharma, one must guide them to the Dharma that suits the disciples' minds. The three of the lowest minds are the three of small, medium, and large, which are the three of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas. The three of the middle are the Action Tantra, Performance Tantra, and Yoga Tantra. The three of the highest are the Generation Stage, Completion Stage, and Dzogchen. One should benefit them in whatever way is appropriate, directly or indirectly. In order to lead sentient beings to virtuous Dharma, one must also diligently practice Dharma with body, speech, and mind, without laziness or negligence. As it says in the Padma Spungs Pa: "Invite well with the fan of generosity, greet with words of pleasant speech, pacify with meaningful actions, and plant great seeds of benefit." So it is said. From the Bodhisattva's training, regarding the method of repairing transgressions, there are two systems of Nagarjuna and Asanga. The first is: Among the three faculties of superior, medium, and inferior, some noble beings with sharp faculties first confess in the manner of dreams and illusions before the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who pervade space. Then, by examining and analyzing the nature of the transgression itself, they remain in equanimity in the state of aimless nature, and thus become liberated from the transgression. As it says in the Sutra of Extensive Ten Directions: "If one wishes to purify remorse, sit upright and look correctly. Look correctly at correctness. If one sees correctly, one is completely liberated. That is the supreme purification of remorse." So it is said. Those of medium faculty perform the seven-branch offering and confess before their own visualized deity. Or, one confesses before the noble Akashagarbha, the deity of all mantras in general, the method of confession
