Taking a vow not to abandon diligence. The diligence of acquiring wealth is: For the cause of perfecting the five paths and ten grounds, joy arises in the accomplishment of the qualities of abandonment and realization, entering with effort and diligence through the three doors of body, speech, and mind, and being brave and not retreating, not being complacent with a little merit, not being shaken by external conditions, and being diligent in a respectful and constant manner. The diligence of benefiting sentient beings is: The cause of accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others, the diligence of rejoicing in benefiting sentient beings. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: The sons of the Buddhas put on armor, with incomparable diligence, destroy the afflictions of themselves and others, and attain the supreme Bodhi. By the power of diligence, all beings are placed in the three Bodhis. Diligence is taken by wisdom, and it is inexhaustible in the world. Samadhi: Worldly Samadhi is: The eight attainments of the four Dhyanas and the four formless absorptions, which are common to non-Buddhists, are called the Samadhi of ordinary people's enjoyment. Transcendental Samadhi is: The nine successive abidings of the exhaustive attainment obtained by the path, or the Samadhi of each of the three vehicles. Their boundaries are: Those who have not entered the path are the Samadhi of calm and insight, those who have entered the path are the Samadhi of the path of accumulation and the path of application, and those who have seen the path are the Samadhi of the noble ones. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: The Samadhi of ordinary people's enjoyment, the Samadhi of distinguishing meanings, the Samadhi of the Tathagata's goodness. Wisdom: The three wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and meditating. The holy Nagarjuna said: The one who increases wisdom is hearing, if there are both thinking and hearing, then meditation arises in that. Therefore, wisdom is superior to other Paramitas, and in the position of ordinary people, the wisdom arising from hearing is very important, because without hearing, one cannot think and meditate. If you want to be proficient in the nature of all dharmas, then the Buddha's scriptures and their commentaries are inner learning, and in order to subdue sentient beings with these, the common fields of knowledge are:

Mastering the science of sound and logic to subdue others, and the arts and medicine to benefit them, one becomes proficient in the five fields of knowledge. In particular, to fully comprehend the meaning of the scriptures, one measures and distinguishes between provisional and definitive meanings, as well as the categories of hidden and indirect intentions, as a means to realize the objects of measurement, namely the conventional and ultimate truths. The profound nature of reality and the sutras that reveal it are of definitive meaning. As a method to enter into the profound meaning, and as a way to guide the minds of sentient beings, all the extensive teachings on impure delusions and their classifications are called teachings of provisional meaning. Hidden intention refers to explanations that are slightly embellished, not straightforward, but presented with purpose and intent. Having a hidden intention regarding the equality of the Dharmakaya, having a hidden intention regarding the three natures—imputed, dependent, and perfected—through the three absences of inherent existence, having a hidden intention regarding other meanings, having a hidden intention regarding other times, considering that good results can be obtained, and for those attached to the view of upholding morality as supreme, disparaging morality and praising generosity, for example, is having a hidden intention regarding the inclinations of individuals. These are the four types of hidden intentions. In order to lead others to the correct path through their fondness for something, relying on the name or partial resemblance of that thing, explaining in a way that conforms to form but not to meaning is the characteristic of indirect intention. These are the indirect intention of entering (a wrong path), the indirect intention of characteristics, the indirect intention of antidotes, and the indirect intention of transformation, totaling four. The objects of measurement are the two truths: the conventional truth of appearance and the ultimate truth of reality. In the mode of appearance, there are two types: delusion and non-delusion. Here, wisdom is insight, which is the ultimate truth. The reasoning that establishes this ultimate truth is the intellect that eliminates the extreme of existence by examining the essence, cause and effect, and both through five types of reasoning, and the intellect of dependent arising that cuts off the proliferation of both existence and non-existence, since it is not established by its own nature but is not non-existent in name. To establish all phenomena as the middle way, free from extremes, regarding the way phenomena appear, these appearances are empty of their own essence merely from the perspective of appearance, and this emptiness without negation is considered the ultimate truth, although there are no terms in the ultimate truth, it is established in the conventional.
