Thus, after explaining the general and specific sections, the characteristics of the master, the virtuous spiritual friend, who explains and teaches the profound meaning of the instructions, according to the general explanation, in the Ornament of the Great Vehicle Sutras, it says: "A spiritual friend is tamed, peaceful, extremely peaceful, rich in qualities, diligent, especially rich in scriptures. He is skilled in speaking, possessing the ability to thoroughly understand reality. He is of a loving nature, abandoning weariness, and should be relied upon." It is said that with pure discipline, samadhi, and wisdom, the body, speech, and mind are peaceful and tamed. With the qualities of being learned, virtuous, and excellent, he benefits others, and the activity of the Dharma increases in all directions and times, and he is diligent. Omniscient Drimé Özer says: "A peaceful body is pure in conduct and without fault. Skilled in cutting doubts, speech is melodious and without impurity. The mind is a deep and peaceful treasury of omniscient wisdom. Qualities are limitless, with great learning and compassion. Wisdom is vast, and thoughts and actions are like the sky. Activities are immeasurable, and all connections are meaningful. Loving, complete with love, abandoning weariness, and always diligent, rely on the one who guides beings upwards." In particular, the guide of the profound secret supreme heart essence, in the Vajra Garland, it says: "The teacher possesses the treasury, the river is complete, vows and commitments are accompanied by compassion, skilled and beneficial to others, diligent, the Vajra Secret Master, should be relied upon in every way." Also, in the Great Perfection of Ati, it says: "Skilled and free from worldly affairs, having reached the limit in the meaning of the nature of reality, without confusion in the realm of desire, is the characteristic of a secret mantra lama."
