On a site for waging war, etc., set up a black platform, one cubit wide and one span high, smeared with poison and blood. Inside, place a black triangular mandala surrounded by skulls and flames, on which are written seed syllables representing the number of deities or a collection of hand implements. On top of it, pile up a triangle made of poisonous and thorny trees such as junipers, soaked in poison and blood. On the left, place an object holding the life of fire, a thorny triangular piece of wood, twelve fingers long and about the thickness of a little finger, carved with the words, written in poison and blood: "May all harmers, enemies, and obstacles be destroyed, Mārāya rab!" Smear the base and tip with plenty of poison, blood, black oil, and animal fat. The fundamental material is the image representing the enemy or obstacle; if it is an enemy, divide it into one hundred and eight parts with six types of filth (such as fluids from a corpse). The violent material is a triangular dough made by mixing the meat of three animals—human, horse, and dog—with flour, inside of which is placed a poisonous paper with the name and family of the harmer written on it in poison and blood. The essential material is a mixture of the meat of frogs, snakes, fish, dogs, etc., with various poisons such as aconite poison, Tang aconite, wolfsbane, and Daphne tangutica. The killing material consists of objects broken by knives, iron, or lightning, and powdered copper slag that has fallen from the sky. The intoxicating material is black oil mixed with impure and defiled blood. The heating material is black sesame, mustard seed, chili pepper, calamus, and sulfur—the three heating agents. Arrange these materials in order in an iron or skull container. Display roasted barley flour mixed with ghee and corresponding silk garments. On the right, arrange offerings of worldly and transcendent enjoyments, alcohol, and tormas, beginning with water for drinking and washing the feet. In front, arrange necessary items such as a vajra bell, a conch shell for pouring water, a fan, flowers, and a work vase. From the accomplishment of the activity ritual of Glorious Great Wrathful One, Subduer of Pride, the tsok offering, and the completion of the limbs, tie a mantra cord to the work vase. Purify it into emptiness with स्वाभाव (Tibetan, Devanagari: स्वभाव, Romanized Sanskrit: svabhāva, Literal meaning: own being/nature). From within the state of great emptiness, the work vase transforms into the palace of the wrathful deity, complete with all characteristics. In the center, on a lotus and sun disc, from a green ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, light radiates and gathers, transforming into swirling nectar, fierce and wrathful. The right and left hands form crossed wrathful mudrās, green in color. From it emanate countless destructive wrathful deities, who expel, torment, suppress, and burn all untamed gods and demons, reducing them to ashes, and then merge into the water of the vase. Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajra amṛta kuṇḍa, Literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Amrita, Vessel)
