In front of me, visualized as the deity, on a lotus and sun-moon seat, above which a red dragon flashes like lightning, from the complete transformation of the red seed syllable ཛཾ་ (Tibetan: ཛཾ།, Devanagari: जं, Romanized Sanskrit: jaṃ, Literal meaning: Tibetan seed syllable), arises Lord Zambhala, whose body color is red like the color of Padmaraga (red lotus jewel), peaceful, smiling, majestic, and charming, holding a jewel in his right hand and a mongoose in his left, adorned with silk and precious jewels, with red Vasudhara on his right and red Lakshmi on his left, the main retinue of three surrounded by a host of Yaksha wealth deities.

May the vase, filled with the nectar of your face, bestow the desired empowerment. Here, concerning how to perform the empowerment of Red Jambhala, some supplementary material is added here for easy reading, based on the instructions given by the great Terton himself. It will be presented in three sections: preliminaries, main practice, and concluding rites. First, in the place where the empowerment is to be performed, on a platform covered with red cloth, arrange various grains and saffron to form the shape of a three-tiered jewel stupa. On top of this, place a copper vase filled with essence, adorned with a red neck cord, ornaments, mantras, and a vajra. In the center, place an empowerment garland made of coral or ruby, or other precious stones of similar color. On the left, place a support for practice or a mandala. Behind it, place the text of the practice. In front, place a blazing jewel torma. Around the perimeter, arrange five types of offerings in different colors. Additionally, in front of the master, there should be a damaru, barley grains, an incense holder, a working vase, a torma for dispelling obstacles, and a mandala. Arrange the ritual text, and perform potent mantra recitation and approach. Take self-entry, make offerings to the Kagyu and Terma lineages, and complete the tsok offering. Then, purify the working vase. From emptiness, the vase is a jewel palace, its interior filled with all qualities. The wrathful deity of empowerment, Hayagriva, red in color, embraces the vajra and consort. Marked with a horse head, complete with all wrathful implements. From his body emanate small wrathful deities, who destroy demons and obstacles, and dissolve into the water in the vase, making the vase water potent. Om, Vajra Wrathful, Hayagriva, Hum, Phat). After reciting this many times, the wrathful deity melts and merges into the vase water, becoming nectar that accomplishes all actions. Having completed the generation and recitation, bathe the disciples, seat them in order, dispel obstacles, and visualize the protective circle. The master exhorts the listeners: For the sake of all beings as vast as space, to attain the precious state of Buddhahood, listen to the empowerment of Red Jambhala, practice it properly, and thereby greatly benefit oneself and others. Please listen with this motivation. Furthermore, the teacher, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, the Great Vajradhara, in the tantras of mantra, proclaimed countless deities.
