Sounds and pleasant smells arise, and actually seeing auspicious and virtuous signs, it is said that these are various signs of the purification of sins, and one will obtain great benefits. May this easily accomplished method of benefiting others through profound tantras and instructions, lead sentient beings from the states of suffering in samsara. Especially through the means of Vajrasattva, for purifying the obscurations of the deceased, as well as the common way, and including the practice of making tsa-tsas for purifying obscurations, this was written at the repeated urging of Tenzin Gyatso, who has vast wisdom on the path of knowledge, as it appeared from the spontaneously perfect tantra, and in accordance with the Eight Commands of the Upper and Lower Treasures, by Padma Thekchok Tenpai Gyaltsen in the great temple of Kalzang Phuntsok Ling, may virtue and auspiciousness increase! Sarva Mangalam! Next is the connection for the Torma empowerment of Vajrasattva: Om Ah Hum, Dharmakaya Kuntuzangpo Yabyum, Sambhogakaya Vajrasattva, Nirmanakaya Padmasambhava Thotreng, Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal, Great Translator Vairochana, Vidyadhara Nyima Drakpa, Heart Son Orgyen Tenzin, Thekchok Tenpai Gyaltsen, and all the root and lineage glorious and precious lamas, and the inexhaustible adornment wheel of the five families of Vajrasattva, please bless this deceased one.
