May the gate of rebirth as a human be severed! At the end of the root mantra: Nri Sarva Avaranaye Svaha! (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) May the Bhagavan, the noble, great compassionate one, the lion of humans, by this empowerment, cause the deceased so-and-so, who has passed from this world to the next, to receive the empowerment to sever the gate of busyness, poverty, and rebirth as a human! Purifying the poison of the earth: Hūṃ! The karma of the five poisons is the poison of ignorance, The father of the poison of the five poisons is also poison, The mother of the poison of the five poisons is also poison, May the poison of the five poisons dissolve into the earth, May Dharmadhatu Vajra destroy the five poisons, May the poison of the five poisons become non-poisonous! At the end of the root mantra: Nri Sarva Hana Hana Ye Svaha! (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) May the Bhagavan, the noble, great compassionate one, by the truth of the samadhi of Dharmadhatu Vajra, cause the deceased so-and-so, who has passed from this world to the next, from beginningless time in samsara until this present body, due to the power of the five poisons and afflictions, all the seeds of sin and obscuration accumulated in all three times, together with their imprints, to dissolve into the expanse of the great element of earth! Wash with water: Hūṃ! The supreme and sacred water of diligence, For the sake of purifying the sins and obscurations of the five poisons, By thoroughly washing with the water of diligence, May the sins and obscurations of the five poisons be purified! At the end of the root mantra: Nri Sarva Shuddhe Shuddhe Ye Svaha! (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) May the Bhagavan, the noble, great compassionate one, by washing with the wisdom water that arises from the nectar of the samadhi of diligence, cause the deceased so-and-so, who has passed from this world to the next, from beginningless time in samsara until this present body, due to the power of the five poisons and afflictions, all the seeds of sin and obscuration accumulated in all three times, together with their imprints, to be cleansed and purified! Through the power of dedicating this torma, which possesses inconceivable qualities, a collection of the five great objects of desire blessed with grace, may all the theft, robbery, and plunder accumulated in all three times due to the power of the five poisons, from beginningless samsara until this present body of the deceased (Che Ges), as well as defilements of offerings, grudges, debts, and all animosities, be purified and cleansed. Then, visualize relatives or the deceased reciting after you: At the beginning of entering the mandala, starting from the east gate: Hūṃ! Vajra Master, please consider! Until I attain enlightenment, I take refuge in the Three Jewels! I also generate the mind of enlightenment! I prostrate, make offerings, and confess sins! I rejoice in virtue, turn the wheel of Dharma! I request you not to pass into nirvana but to remain! May all the collections of merit be dedicated to beings! May all attain the state of Vajradhara! Hūṃ! Lama, protector, refuge of beings! Just as the sons of the Buddhas in the past received empowerment from the protectors! Here and now, please grant it to me! Ho! Since I am your guide, come here, enter this mandala! Throw flowers to the deity of the family! May it fall upon the deity of protection! Pratigrhana ho! (Sanskrit, Pratigrhana ho, Receive!) Give the secret name! Hūṃ! Look, son of the deceased lineage! Remove the veil of ignorance with skillful means! Dharmadhatu pure land, Sukhavati! Manifestly abiding in the three times! Without hesitation, behold with clarity! Svabhava jnana siddhi stom! (Sanskrit, Svabhava jnana siddhi stom, Accomplishment of intrinsic wisdom!) The empowerment is: Become the chief of the deceased lineage! Hūṃ! Vase, Dharmadhatu, Sukhavati! Within it dwells the Great Compassionate One! By empowering this deceased one! May the supreme vase empowerment be attained! At the end of the root mantra: Kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ! (Sanskrit, Kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ, Empower the body, Oṃ!) Then, holding the essence syllable of Amitabha's nature: Hūṃ! Secret mantra, supreme essence! Pure desire, discriminating awareness empowerment! By empowering you, the deceased! May the supreme speech empowerment be attained! At the end of the root mantra: Oṃ padma abhiṣiñca hūṃ! (Sanskrit, Oṃ padma abhiṣiñca hūṃ, Lotus, empower, Hūṃ!)
