Those that can be placed securely are placed on the bathing platform and washed. Those that cannot be placed are allowed to appear as reflections in the mirror. The respectful announcement is: In this world, the Bhagavan Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, endowed with knowledge and conduct, Well-Gone, Knower of the World, Tamer of Beings, Charioteer, Supreme, Teacher of Gods and Humans, Buddha Bhagavan, to those, I offer this bath with all offerings. The bathing room is extremely fragrant, the crystal ground is clear and shining, with delightful pillars of burning jewels, covered with a pearl-light-formed canopy. To the Tathagatas and their sons, with many precious vases filled with fragrant water, with delightful and complete songs and, accompanied by many musical instruments, I perform the bathing. Thus it is said. First with the water of the activity vase, then with the seven bath waters, wash in order. Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुँ, IAST: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ)! To the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times, although they have no three poisons, habitual tendencies, or delusions, in order to purify the two obscurations of sentient beings, by offering this bath water to the bodies of the Buddhas, may the bodily obscurations of all sentient beings be purified!
