The Order of Consecrating the Three Jewels Through the Wheel of the Empowerment of the Lama Heruka, A Collection of Auspicious and Radiant Recitations The Order of Consecrating the Three Jewels Through the Wheel of the Empowerment of the Lama Heruka, A Collection of Auspicious and Radiant Recitations The Order of Consecrating the Three Jewels Through the Wheel of the Empowerment of the Lama Heruka, A Collection of Auspicious and Radiant Recitations is complete. From the all-pervading, primordial realm, without obstruction, The spontaneously accomplished, five-fold certain wisdom, The very essence that manifests in various ways, May the kind lama always be worshiped in my heart. The Buddha, complete with the two perfections of abandonment and realization, The sacred Dharma, holding the characteristics of the two truths, The Sangha, endowed with the qualities of knowledge and liberation, I prostrate to the Three Jewels, the sole refuge of samsara and nirvana. May seeing, hearing, and remembering eliminate the accumulation of obscurations, The splendor of nectar that draws forth wondrous appearances, The fields for accumulating merit for beings, who bestow various manifestations such as craftsmanship, I pay homage to them. The body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas and their sons, On the conventional support, with the wisdom mudra, The supreme method of achieving non-duality, I am delighted to speak of the glory that blazes with auspicious goodness. Here, a general explanation of just a portion of the meaning of consecration, and the specific actual ritual. Firstly, it is shown by distinguishing between the definitive and the provisional. Essence, definition, support, faults, benefits, teacher, place, time, and signs, these are the ten categories. The first is: The all-pervading, primordial wisdom, uncreated, spontaneously accomplished, and the realization of that itself, there is no need to specially consecrate. As it is said in the Tantra of Abiding: "All Buddhas abide, There is no one who abides." And: "When the holy one practices the meaning, Who consecrates what, where? In the unborn, peaceful from the beginning, How does one consecrate what?" And also in the Consecration of the Bliss Assembly: "In the unborn, clear light of all dharmas, Those worthy of offering who possess realization, There is no need to consecrate." Thus, those common trainees who do not understand such meaning, for the sake of increasing the two accumulations, it is shown that consecration is necessary in the conventional. As it is said in the Root Tantra: "Relying on the conventional world, Consecration is consecrated." And the first action
