If one feels uncomfortable after receiving offerings, or if seeing the patrons and offerings disturbs one's mind, and bad omens occur in dreams, one should avoid them. If experiences and awareness are clear, and dreams and omens are good, one should accept them, and upon arriving at the sacred object, immediately offer three portions of torma, dispel obstacles, and hang a screen on the sacred object. If desired, the teacher can perform blessings for several days. Until the preparation, main part, and conclusion of the blessing are completed, the auspicious connections to be cherished are: avoid fights, quarrels, resentment, sadness, suffering, and harsh words among the patrons and offerings. One should wear good clothes and ornaments, eat good food, and enjoy good things. Choose auspicious days and favorable directions, and engage in auspicious activities such as singing, dancing, music, chanting, and performing dances, with a joyful mind. Offer extensive, pure, and abundant torma offerings to the objects of offering—the guru, yidam, and dharma protectors—and to inferior obstacles, and give generously to the poor and beggars who cannot afford to offer. Whatever signs, large or small, may appear, do not give up, but put on the armor of diligence and persevere until completion. As the great teacher Padmasambhava said: Especially for the abbot of empowerment, the most important are the three key points of samadhi contemplation: the key point of the all-pervading great basis, the key point of the samadhi union path, and the key point of the spontaneously accomplished great result. First, in order to integrate the wisdom of empowerment, the teacher should recognize that all phenomena of appearance and sound are inseparable from the three bodies, or that the great union is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, and that it is inherently so. From the dharmakaya space, manifest the sambhogakaya, and then integrate the sambhogakaya samaya being into the dharmakaya wisdom being, merging them into one indivisible entity, transforming the samadhi. Second, the essence of all dharmas is unestablished in any way, but the appearance never ceases. Through this key point, if virtue and vice are transformations of the mind, and good and bad are the self-nature of thought, then all actions of offering should be undertaken with the sole intention of establishing all beings throughout space in liberation. In this state, the nature of the sacred object is non-abiding and non-grasping, from the self-luminous light of the dharmakaya, the form of the complete marks of the rupakaya becomes clear, for one's own.

From the heart, emanate goddesses with the form of the Four Immeasurables, holding iron hooks, lassos, iron chains, and bells, immeasurable in number, pervading the boundless sky. From the infinite realms of the ten directions, arouse the minds of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as numerous as dust motes, invite them forth, and the wisdom body descends like an avalanche, dissolving into the support, with intense devotion and longing. The essence of that which dissolves and that into which it dissolves, the unaltered suchness, luminosity and emptiness, the self-nature free from thought, these two abide in a state of vast expanse, without clinging to notions of one or many. Thirdly, the auspicious coincidence for spontaneously accomplishing the benefit of others, in order to increase the accumulation of merit and wisdom, is this: the samaya and wisdom are inseparable, the essence of the body, speech, mind, and wisdom vajra abides, transforming that support of body, speech, and mind into that very form, so that the activities of taming beings, according to their faculties and intentions, the temporary and ultimate wishes are accomplished as desired, pervading like the sky, and without interruption until samsara is empty, all beings who see, hear, remember, touch, are affected by shadows and wind, purify obscurations, perfect accumulations, and accomplish the activities of attaining the state of union of the two kayas, with faith and vast aspirations. Thus, after striving, the external signs of consecration are: on that day, the elements are in harmony, there is no strife. The internal signs are: flowers blooming on the support, and other auspicious signs. The secret signs are: the arising of experiences on the support, and so on. The above is an explanation of what should be known regarding the preliminary, main part, and subsequent parts. The second part is the order of the consecration ritual, first showing the differences between the extensive, intermediate, and concise rituals in order. First, there are three stages: preliminary preparation, the main part, and the subsequent part. First, the summary of the sections is: mandala arrangement, making requests, self and front practice, purifying obstacles, bathing and generating, inviting and dwelling, offering praise, listening to requests, covering the support, subsequent rituals, shown in fourteen. First, the activity of the mandala is to perform the rituals of examining the ground, taking soil, divination, etc., on the unpurified ground, and it is not contradictory not to do so on tamed ground. The dwelling's curtains, banners, cushions, thrones, and other decorations should be beautiful and pleasing. The root mandala is colored sand.
