Through the immeasurable accumulation of merit from my actions, I am highly exalted. Although there are countless beings who can achieve longevity and other attainments, they ultimately cannot escape the suffering of falling. As stated in the Sutra of One Hundred Karmas: 'Sons of noble families, even if born in the heavenly realm like the Great Brahma, enjoying immeasurable pleasures, they ultimately cannot escape the fear of the lower realms. Therefore, this cycle of existence is an ocean of suffering.' So it is said. Similarly, in the human realm, the assemblies of beings in the vast and numerous worlds, such as the first, second, and third thousand worlds, reside in the form of the four continents and subcontinents. Their lifespans vary, and due to the power of karma, happiness and suffering appear accordingly. In particular, all beings are universally tormented by the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death. The karma that leads to birth there is due to experiencing the results of actions driven by desire and attachment. Among these, in this Jambudvipa, located in the southern direction of Mount Meru, those who have now obtained human bodies are not beings with shared karma like those in other continents. Due to diverse karmas, they have transformed into various forms of beings, making it a continent with diverse sufferings. First, the suffering of being born in that continent is described in the Auspicious Sutra of Entering the Womb: 'Like the city of the womb, a pit of hell, filled with foul odors, stuffiness, heat, cold, and suffering.' Thus, when the time of death arrives for any individual, and their lifespan completely passes into the next life, the bardo of dying, the bardo of dharmata, and the bardo of existence arise. For forty-nine days, the mind flutters like a feather carried by the wind. Although the body is complete with all faculties and can freely utilize the four elements, it is tormented by various forms of suffering. In particular, one must experience death every seven days, and in that very instant, experience the suffering of birth. At that time, at the entrance of the womb where males and females engage in intercourse, like flies swarming around rotting flesh, when the consciousness flutters about, due to the good or bad pull of previous karma, one sees the six entrances to the wombs of the six realms. If one is to be born in the realm of gods, one sees a celestial mansion; if one is to be born as an asura, one sees armor; if one is to be born as a human, one sees a house; if one is to be born as an animal

If reborn as an animal, one will see animal pens and forests; if reborn as a hungry ghost, one will see violent rain and wind and bare red cliffs; if reborn in hell, one will see things like being in fire and water or black light; when the appearance of attachment to these arises, one will be reborn in whichever of the six realms one is attached to and clings to; the Sutra of Entering the Womb says: 'When some beings have exhausted the pull of their karma and must experience the suffering of complete death, the appearances of the womb will also arise, and they will each take on the forms of the six realms.' This is because whatever one is completely attached to there is also a great place of suffering. Then, when the two causes of the parents and the four winds of karma that take one's own body come together, one must experience the great suffering of feeling that one's own consciousness has become many pieces and fragments. Then, after seven days, as the body's size increases, consciousness gathers, and one must experience suffering like a bird's feather being scorched in a fire. Then, on the seventh day, it becomes a congealed state; on the first day, the element of water gathers, and one feels the suffering of standing naked in the midst of a blizzard; on the second day, the wind separates it, and one feels the suffering of consciousness floating and falling into an abyss; on the third day, the earth stabilizes it, and one feels the suffering of consciousness becoming dull and being trapped in the midst of a great dust storm; on the fourth day, the fire ripens it, and one feels that consciousness has extremely hot rays, and one feels the suffering of being melted in a blacksmith's crucible; on the fifth day, when the wind and fire burn, one feels the suffering of being blown away by the wind and burned by the fire; on the sixth day, when water and earth gather together, one experiences both the suffering of being pressed down by the earth and being carried away by the water; on the seventh day, when the four elements gather and become a congealed state, one must experience the four sufferings of being moved by a great wind, being covered by earth, being burned by charcoal fire, and being trapped in a cesspool. From that congealed state, an extremely thin navel chakra is formed, and
