Dhani. Manase. Maha Manase. Adbhute Atyadbhute. Bhita Bhaye Suvarne, Brahma Ghoshe. Brahma Dhyushite. Sarva Artheshu Aparajite. Sarvatra Apratihate. Chatu Shashti Buddha Koti Bhashite, Namah Sarva Tathagatanam Svaha. When the Bhagavan spoke this dharani, all the assembled Bodhisattva retinue, as well as Indra, Brahma, and all the world protectors, said "Excellent!" to the Bhagavan. "Bhagavan, out of compassion for sentient beings, to eliminate all sins, to pacify all diseases, and to fulfill all wishes, you have spoken these dharani mantras. Friends, whether it be a son or daughter of good family, a king or prince, a male or female lay practitioner, anyone who seeks merit, who holds, recites, fully understands these dharani words, and generates faith, three times during the day and three times during the night cherishes a mind of compassion for all sentient beings, makes offerings with flowers, incense, perfume, and lamps, keeps themselves clean, and practices the Noble Eightfold Path, then all their sins, including the five heinous crimes, will be completely purified. After dying and transmigrating from here, they will be born in that world, arising miraculously in the heart of a lotus on a lion throne. All diseases will be pacified. Death, enemies, and harm from monasteries will all be pacified. At the time of death, the Tathagata will also remember them. All wishes and thoughts will be completely fulfilled. Manjushri, from the east, passing beyond seven times as many world realms as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, there is a world called Sorrowless, where there dwells a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha named Sorrowless Supreme Auspiciousness. He lives, exists, and also teaches the Dharma. Manjushri, the Buddha-field of that Bhagavan Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Sorrowless Supreme Auspiciousness is as flat as the palm of a hand, vast, wide, without sorrow, without lower realms.

Without the enemy of suffering, without the substance of women, the ground is smooth and very soft, perfumed with divine incense, adorned with trees of divine jewels, the golden ponds of the divine Jambu River are filled with fragrant water, possessing trees of seven precious things, flowers, and precious grains, possessing the sound of divine music. Just like the Buddha-field world of Sukhāvatī of the Tathāgata Arhat Samyaksaṃbuddha Amitābha, so too is the array of qualities of the Buddha-field of the Tathāgata Arhat Samyaksaṃbuddha Nirghoṣaśrī. Mañjuśrī, the Bhagavan Tathāgata Arhat Samyaksaṃbuddha Nirghoṣaśrī, in the past, when practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, made four great aspirations. What are the four? The first of his great aspirations is: When I attain unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment in the future, then, whatever sentient beings there are who experience sorrow, suffering, discomfort, much turmoil, and various kinds of suffering, those sentient beings who, even upon hearing my name, keep it in mind, through my power, may all sorrow, suffering, discomfort, and turmoil be completely pacified. May no one experience the suffering of separation from loved ones. May they have long lives. This is what he aspired to. The second of his great aspirations is: When I attain unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment in the future, then, whatever sentient beings there are who have committed various kinds of sins and non-virtues, and are born in the great Avīci hell and the extremely dark hell, through my power, may such a light of rays emanate from my body that, as soon as it touches and sees those hell beings, all their sins are purified, and they are completely liberated from the suffering of the great Avīci hell. May the continuity of all feelings of suffering be cut off. May they attain unexcelled, perfect, complete

愿我直至现证圆满正等觉之间，都能享受天人的安乐！如是发愿。其第三大愿为：当我在未来证得无上圆满正等觉时，凡是那些因往昔造作罪恶不善业，掠夺他人财物而生于贫贱之家，没有衣服、食物、饮料、卧具和装饰品，遭受寒冷和炎热之苦，因饥渴而身体憔悴，容貌丑陋的众生，听到我的名字，念诵我的名字，直至现证无上圆满正等觉之间，都能拥有衣物、食物、饮料和卧具，尽情享用，身体以天人的色彩装饰！如是发愿。其第四大愿为：当我在未来证得无上圆满正等觉时，凡是那些被夜叉、罗刹、鬼怪和食肉者所折磨，精气被夺走，遭受各种疾病痛苦的众生，听到我的名字，凭借我的威力，直至现证无上圆满正等觉之间，所有夜叉、罗刹、鬼怪和食肉者夺取精气之事，都能彻底平息！安住在慈爱之中！从各种疾病痛苦中完全解脱！文殊薄伽梵如是发了这四大愿。文殊，凡是听到薄伽梵如来、阿罗汉、圆满正等觉、无忧最胜吉祥如来之名，白天念诵三遍，夜晚念诵三遍，并对众生怀有慈爱之心，也对如来作供养的那些人，所有业障都将完全清净，从忧愁、痛苦、不悦和纷争中完全解脱，恒常具有无病之身，长寿且从一切疾病中完全解脱，直至菩提的究竟，都不会堕入恶道。

May I experience the happiness of gods and humans until I attain complete and perfect enlightenment! Thus he prayed. The third great aspiration is: When I attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment in the future, may all sentient beings who, due to past sins and non-virtuous deeds, were born into poor and lowly families for stealing the possessions of others, lacking clothes, food, drink, bedding, and ornaments, experiencing the suffering of cold and heat, their bodies emaciated by hunger and thirst, and with ugly appearances, upon hearing my name and reciting it, may they have clothes, food, drink, and bedding to fully enjoy until they attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and may their bodies be adorned with the colors of the gods! Thus he prayed. The fourth great aspiration is: When I attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment in the future, may all sentient beings who are tormented by yakshas, rakshasas, spirits, and flesh-eaters, their vitality stolen, experiencing various sufferings of disease, upon hearing my name and through my power, may all the yakshas, rakshasas, spirits, and flesh-eaters who steal vitality be completely pacified until they attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment! May they abide in loving-kindness! May they be completely liberated from various sufferings of disease! Manjushri, the Bhagavan, made these four great aspirations. Manjushri, whoever hears the name of the Bhagavan Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly and Completely Enlightened One, Supreme Auspicious One Free from Sorrow, and recites it three times during the day and three times during the night, and cherishes loving-kindness towards sentient beings, and also makes offerings to that Tathagata, all their karmic obscurations will be completely purified, they will be completely liberated from sorrow, suffering, displeasure, and strife, they will always possess a healthy body, live long, and be completely liberated from all diseases, and until the ultimate of enlightenment, they will not fall into evil paths.
