Writing the letters, requesting to write the letters, and making offerings with great reverence, know that they will not go to the three lower realms. They will not turn back from the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. They will be born in those Buddha-fields that they desire. They will see the Thus-Gone Ones. They will remember their past lives. They will also obtain samādhi and dhāraṇī. Then, the Bodhisattva Vajrapani requested those Thus-Gone Ones, saying: 'For the sake of those sons or daughters of good family who hold this sutra, I will bestow the basis of the dhāraṇī mantras. Buddhas, Bhagavat, please listen to me.' Then, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, gave their approval to the Bodhisattva Vajrapani, saying: 'Well done, Vajrapani, well done! Vajrapani, please listen. For the benefit of those who hold this king of sutras, and in order to fulfill all hopes, speak those bases of the dhāraṇī mantras.' Then, the great Bodhisattva Vajrapani spoke these bases of the dhāraṇī mantras: Homage to the seven perfectly complete Buddhas! Homage to all the Vajra-holders! Tadyatha. Oṃ vajre vajre mahāvajre vajra pāśa dhāraṇi. Sama sama, mamanta, apratihata vajre. Shama shama, prashamantu sarva vyādhaya. Kuru kuru sarva karmāṇi. Samaya manusmara bhagavan. Vajrapani. Sarva asham me paripūraye svāhā. Bhagavat, whoever holds the names of these Thus-Gone Ones and the special qualities of their former aspirations, and this category of Dharma, and recites it, I will fulfill all their hopes, and I will accomplish all their benefits. If they wish to see me, please grant them to write this category of Dharma. Also make the seven images of those Thus-Gone Ones, and also make the image of the Vajra-holder together with a stupa. Also, to those Thus-Gone Ones, as mentioned above, with incense, incense sticks, lamps, garlands, ornaments, the sound of music, and cymbals.

以音乐和歌舞来供养并绕行。也念诵这些陀罗尼的秘密咒语之根本。对众生也生起利益之心和慈爱之心。安住于八支圣道的近住，沐浴三次，更换衣服三次。从初八开始，到下个月的十五之间，每天念诵本尊咒语一百零八遍，那么，请您在我的梦中显现。也进行恳切的教诲。所有愿望都将圆满。然后，所有的菩萨眷属都称赞菩萨金刚手为“好啊！好啊！”金刚手，您很好地宣说了这些陀罗尼的秘密咒语之根本，好啊！好啊！那些如来也这样说道。金刚手，为了所有众生的利益和安乐，以及所有愿望都圆满，我们加持这些陀罗尼的秘密咒语之根本。然后，那些佛陀世尊召唤帝释天、梵天和护世神，说道：朋友们，我将这个法类托付给你们。你们无论如何也要守护这个伟大的法类，它与如来相等，能净化所有罪业，圆满所有愿望，不要让它在末世末劫，五百年的末期，众生福薄、舍弃正法、诽谤圣者的人手中消失。然后，具寿阿难陀从座位上站起来，将袈裟披在一边肩膀上，右膝着地，向世尊所在的方向合掌，对世尊说道：世尊，这个法类的名字是什么？如何受持？世尊说道：阿难陀，因此，这个法类的名字就叫做“如来应供正等觉七佛愿力殊胜广大”，这样受持。菩萨金刚手承诺。

Offerings and circumambulation are performed with music and dances. Also, these fundamental secret mantras of Dharani are recited. Generate a mind of benefit and a mind of loving-kindness towards sentient beings. Abide in the eight-limbed noble path of observance, bathe three times, and change clothes three times. Starting from the eighth day, until the fifteenth day of the following month, if one recites the root mantra one hundred and eight times each day, then, please grant me a vision in my dreams. Also, give earnest teachings. All wishes will be completely fulfilled. Then, all those Bodhisattva retinues praised Bodhisattva Vajrapani, saying, "Well done! Well done!" Vajrapani, you have well spoken these fundamental secret mantras of Dharani, well done! Well done! Those Tathagatas also said the same. Vajrapani, for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings, and for the complete fulfillment of all wishes, we bless these fundamental secret mantras of Dharani. Then, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, summoned Indra, Brahma, and the protectors of the world, and said: Friends, I entrust this Dharma category to you. By all means, protect this great Dharma category, which is equal to the Tathagata, purifies all sins, and fulfills all wishes, so that it does not disappear into the hands of sentient beings with little merit, who abandon the sacred Dharma, and slander the noble ones in the degenerate age of the future, at the end of the five hundred years. Then, the venerable Ananda rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and, with his palms joined together, bowed towards the Bhagavat and said to the Bhagavat: Bhagavat, what is the name of this Dharma category? How should it be held? The Bhagavat said: Ananda, therefore, the name of this Dharma category shall be held as "The Extensive Special Qualities of the Prayers of the Seven Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Complete Buddhas." Bodhisattva Vajrapani promised.

Please adhere to and uphold this! Please adhere to and uphold that which completely purifies all karmic obscurations and fulfills all hopes! Please adhere to and uphold the vows of the twelve Yaksha generals! Thus spoke the Bhagavan, and the youthful Manjushri, and those Bodhisattvas, and the secret lord Vajrapani, and all the retinue complete with everything, and the world with gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas rejoiced, and praised the words of the Bhagavan. The Great Vehicle Sutra entitled "The Extensive Exposition on the Distinctive Features of the Previous Aspirations of the Seven Sugatas" is complete. Translated and finalized by the translator Bande Yeshe De of Zhuchen. By the compassion of the great teacher Padmasambhava, may the time when I encounter these Dharma texts in the future be such that demonic obstacles cannot hinder them, and may they bring vast benefit to the teachings and sentient beings. May those who connect with this Dharma see the pure lands of the seven Buddhas without being interrupted by other births! Said by I, Kluwang Sung, may there be auspiciousness! Medicine Sutra.
