Herein resides the inner practice of the Eight Sugatas, the source of all that is desired. Copied from the handwritten scroll of Tsogyal. Homage to all the Sugata Buddhas! Guru Rinpoche, emanation, please grant the empowerment for the inner practice of the Eight Sugatas! Please accept our reverent prostrations and abundant offerings, and presented with silver bowls filled with grains and wine. Offering with precious golden mandalas and many circumambulations. The Great Master said: As requested by Jomo Tsogyal, I will explain, listen and record it! If one desires to practice the inner practice of the Eight Sugatas, prepare as in the outer practice, and on the mandala placed in the position of the vase, gather eight piles of Arura fruits, gold color, etc., whatever is available, using hair oil as an adhesive. After arranging the offerings, the practitioner bathes and sits on the seat. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Secondly, the main practice: The empowerment received from the Lord of Secrets, etc., should be done as before, and the substances for practice are cleansed and purified. From the state of emptiness, visualize the mandala field, Arura fruits, the Eight Sugatas, and all the retinue of Bodhisattvas, Arhats, commands, treasure protectors, etc., according to the scriptures. Especially, dissolve oneself into emptiness and expand it. From the state of emptiness, in the heart of the Lord of the Teachings who appears clearly, on the center of the moon disc, visualize the King of Medicine surrounded by six attendants, and after correcting the ritual of activities and completing the praise, gradually attain Buddhahood like the samadhi of the mantra holder. Then, in the throats of the seven Tathagatas, on the moon disc of the enjoyment wheel, visualize the seed syllable Hum (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in its own color, surrounded by mantras, radiating and gathering light, thereby stimulating the heart stream of the deity generated in front. Offering with offerings that please the Buddhas of the ten directions, extensively offering to the Buddhas of the ten directions and the Eight Sugatas and their retinue, and inviting all the blessings of the Buddhas' aspirations and vows, abilities, and compassionate power, all transformed into rays and beams of their respective colors, inconceivably gathered. Dissolving into the mandala of the luminous body, the recited mantras, the enjoyment wheel, etc., like a heavy rain falling into a great ocean. The substances for practice in front manifest as the actual palace of the Buddhas, especially the definite understanding that oneself is inseparable from the Tathagatas is firm.

With the glorious one, with pure mindfulness, the outer appearance of the city of medicine is beautiful and pleasing. All sentient beings, with form and without form, are non-dual with the Sugata Buddhas. The self-sound of the mantra wheel of the Dharani, all sounds are clear and distinct, all are the self-sound of the mantra. All the conceptualizations of the three times are thought of as the wisdom and compassion of the Buddhas, clear and unobstructed, and one should strive to practice recitation according to the scriptures. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Third, the subsequent sequence is: Having generated diligence in this way and practiced it, by reciting eight million times, one will undoubtedly obtain all the qualities spoken of in the sutras. Abandoning the clinging of doubt, one should strive to practice. Having bathed, adorned with ornaments, and worn new clothes, raise banners, blow conches, and play musical instruments. Pus and blood dripping and crossing bridges are signs of attaining common accomplishments. Finding treasures, castles flying, raising victory banners, sitting on a throne made of five precious jewels, sun and moon rising, riding and holding, climbing stupas, building, and so on, are signs of attaining supreme accomplishments. From those signs that are not clear, meeting the face, hearing the voice, seeing the pure lands, various auspicious signs will arise. Being enveloped in darkness, eating filth and vomit, fighting with enemy armies and jackals, drowning in water, these unpleasant signs may also appear. Good omens are in harmony with this, attaining supreme common empowerments. Bad omens indicate great sins, obscurations, and demonic influences. Signs of obstacles indicate repetition of practice. Strive from the heart, pressing on the essential points. In general, whatever good or bad arises, from the self-radiance of the emptiness of mind itself, other than that, there is no other awareness. Abandon the conceptual thoughts of hope, fear, and clinging. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Sleep yoga, after the practice substances, outwardly act and practice. In the mantra box of the body and hair, it is best to have relics and so on. The Lama stone, the three supports of body, speech, and mind, always carry them with you without separation. Visualize them as the body, speech, and mind of the Buddha. Keep it secret from those sinful ones without vows. When the time of your own death comes, arrange the three supports and offer offerings. Entrust the consciousness to the heart of the Buddha, the Dharmakaya of emptiness beyond mind. The essence of the Buddha's heart, and your own stainless awareness, in non-duality, without fixating on duality, blend with the power of familiarizing oneself with meditation. Abandon attachment, transfer in non-acceptance and non-rejection.
