Meditate on becoming fortunate to enjoy the three mandalas of body, speech, and mind. Then, to request the body empowerment, say this: Homage to the great Vajradhara guru and the Sugata Bhagavan. Grant the ripening liberation of body, speech, and mind. Request the empowerment of blessing and wisdom. Having prayed in this way, visualize the guru as the empowerment deity, holding a vase filled with immaculate wisdom nectar in his hands, and bestowing empowerment from the crown of the head. Meditate on manifesting as the mandala of the body of the Tathagata. Hūṃ. Just as the Tathagatas who know the three times, possess the power of meditative wisdom that knows all things, by offering this supreme empowerment, may I obtain the empowerment endowed with the five bodies and five wisdoms. Namaḥ sarva tathāgata abhiṣeka tā samaya śrīye hūṃ. May you take hold of this one, Grant the accomplishment of the mantra, And may the fruit of the Sambhogakaya be attained. Recite auspicious verses and scatter flowers. Third, for the purpose of requesting the mind empowerment, say this: Homage to the great Vajradhara teacher and, Sugata Bhagavan. Grant the maturation and liberation of body, speech, and mind, I request the empowerment of blessing and wisdom. After praying in this way, visualize the teacher clearly as the King of Medicine Tathagata, from the heart of which emanates a blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable, blue rays of light, hot to the touch, swift in nature, many like shooting stars in the sky, striking you who are clear as the Buddha King of Medicine, thereby transforming into the great emptiness of non-objectification, and rest in non-fabrication. The lama raises the hand implement to the sky, uttering the sound Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) three times, and remains in equipoise. Again, like a bubble bursting from water, or like a rainbow appearing from space, in an instant you are clear as the body of the Tathagata, from which the seed syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) in the heart, blue and radiant, empowers you, the mind of the Tathagata.
