Therefore, with supreme compassion for all sentient beings, he fashioned the images of the seven Tathagatas. To these seven Tathagatas, offerings are made with flowers, incense, lamps, perfumes, garlands, the sound of music, victory banners, and flags, and for seven days, one abides in the Noble Eightfold Path. If these dharani mantras are recited one thousand and eight times, the Tathagatas will remember, all Bodhisattvas will remember, and all Vajra-holders will also be truly protected. All the gods, Indra, all the Brahmas, and the four Great Kings will also protect. All obscurations, including the five inexpiable sins, will be completely purified, one will not be afflicted by all diseases, one will live long, and one will be completely liberated from all fears of untimely death. All death, enemies, harm from monasteries, fighting, disputes, and conflicts will be completely pacified. One will not fall under the control of all enemies, and all wishes will be completely fulfilled. Then, the Bodhisattva Vajrapani, the King of the Gods Indra, and the four Great Kings, approached the Blessed One, where he was, and with their palms joined in reverence, they said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, we have heard the excellent distinctions of the aspirations of the seven Tathagatas. and the harm to monasteries, may all diseases be completely pacified. I, as the Tathagata, repay the kindness done to sentient beings, and may all untimely deaths be averted. May all strife, battles, arguments, and conflicts be completely pacified. May all thoughts and wishes be fulfilled as desired, may mind and body be at ease, and may enjoyment, power, wealth, and grain increase. May there be protection in all places and at all times. Bhagavan, may sons or daughters of good family remember these vows that we have made. Tadyatha. Aghu Maghu Taraghu Mama Ghu. Ghure. Haha He. Mra Mra Mra Mra. Dzu Dzu Re Dzu Re Svaha. Whoever holds, recites, writes, commissions to be written, and offers with great reverence the names of the Tathagatas and these words of the dharani, know that they will not go to the three lower realms, and they will not turn back from the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. They will be born in those Buddha-fields that they desire. They will see the Tathagata. They will remember their past lives. They will also obtain samadhi and dharani. Then, the Bodhisattva Vajrapani addressed those Tathagatas, saying: For the benefit of those sons or daughters of good family who hold this sutra, I will completely bestow the basis of the dharani mantras. Buddhas, Bhagavan, please listen to me. Then, those Buddhas, the Bhagavan, gave approval to the Bodhisattva Vajrapani, saying: Well done, Vajrapani, well done, well done. Vajrapani, please listen, for the benefit of those who hold this king of sutras, and in order to fulfill all hopes, speak those bases of the dharani mantras.
