愿一切争端完全平息！愿谁也不要遭受与痛苦分离的痛苦！愿长寿！这样祈愿了。他的第二个大愿是：当我在未来证得无上圆满正等觉成佛之时，那些造作各种罪恶不善行，转生于大焦热地狱，黑暗无光的众生，愿我以我的威力，我的身体发出这样的光芒，当他们接触和看到这些光芒时，所有的罪业都得以清净，愿他们从那大焦热地狱的痛苦中完全解脱！愿一切痛苦的感受都停止！直到证得无上圆满正等觉成佛之前，愿他们享受天人的安乐！这样祈愿了。他的第三个大愿是：当我在未来证得无上圆满正等觉成佛之时，那些往昔造作罪恶不善行，因掠夺他人财物而转生于贫穷低贱之家，没有衣服、食物、饮料、卧具和装饰品，遭受寒冷和炎热的痛苦，因饥渴而身体消瘦，面容丑陋的众生，当他们听到我的名字，念诵我的名字时，直到证得无上圆满正等觉成佛之前，愿他们能充分使用衣服、食物、饮料和卧具！愿他们的身体装饰着天人的色彩！这样祈愿了。他的第四个大愿是：当我在未来证得无上圆满正等觉成佛之时，那些被夜叉、罗刹、鬼怪和食肉鬼所折磨，夺取精气，遭受各种疾病痛苦的众生，当他们听到我的名字，以我的威力，直到证得无上圆满正等觉成佛之前，不再被夜叉、罗刹、鬼怪和食肉鬼夺取精气

May all conflicts be completely pacified! May no one experience the suffering of separation from happiness! May they have long lives! Thus he prayed. His second great aspiration is: When I attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and become a Buddha in the future, may those sentient beings who have committed various sinful and unwholesome deeds, and are born in the great Avīci hell, a place of darkness and gloom, through my power, may such light rays emanate from my body that, as soon as those hell beings touch and see them, all their sins are purified, and may they be completely liberated from the suffering of that great Avīci hell! May all feelings of suffering cease! Until I attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and become a Buddha, may they experience the bliss of gods and humans! Thus he prayed. His third great aspiration is: When I attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and become a Buddha in the future, may those sentient beings who have committed sinful and unwholesome deeds in the past, and are born into poor and lowly families due to stealing the possessions of others, lacking clothes, food, drink, bedding, and ornaments, experiencing the suffering of cold and heat, their bodies emaciated by hunger and thirst, and with ugly faces, when they hear my name and recite it, until I attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and become a Buddha, may they fully enjoy all clothes, food, drink, and bedding! May their bodies be adorned with the colors of the gods! Thus he prayed. His fourth great aspiration is: When I attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and become a Buddha in the future, may those sentient beings who are tormented and deprived of their vitality by yakshas, rakshasas, spirits, and flesh-eaters, and experience various sufferings of disease, when they hear my name, through my power, until I attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment and become a Buddha, may they no longer be deprived of their vitality by yakshas, rakshasas, spirits, and flesh-eaters.

May all be completely pacified. May they abide in loving-kindness. May they be completely liberated from all kinds of suffering from diseases. The Bhagavan Manjushri has made these four great aspirations. Manjushri, whoever hears the name of the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Ashoka Uttama Shri, and recites it three times during the day and three times during the night, and cherishes loving-kindness towards sentient beings, and also makes offerings to that Tathagata, all their karmic obscurations will be completely purified. They will be completely liberated from sorrow, suffering, displeasure, and strife. They will always be endowed with good health. They will live long and be completely liberated from all diseases. Until the ultimate of Bodhi, they will not fall into evil destinies. They will remember their past lives. In that Tathagata's Buddha-field, they will be born miraculously on a lotus throne made of seven precious jewels. All the gods will protect them. Manjushri, hearing the name of that Bhagavan is thus endowed with many qualities. Manjushri, the excellent qualities and array of that Bhagavan's Buddha-field, and the extensive distinctions of the Bodhisattva's former aspirations, cannot be expressed by all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, except for the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddhas. Manjushri, to the east, beyond Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of eight Ganges rivers, there is a world called Dharma Dhvaja, where the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha named Dharma Kirti Samudra Ghosha resides, living, well, and also teaching the Dharma. Manjushri, that Buddha-field of the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Dharma Kirti Samudra Ghosha is exceedingly pure and equal, immaculate, luminous, with the nature of sapphire, the walls, fences, windows, balconies, nets, and pavilions are made of crystal, the ground is adorned with divine jewel trees, with golden threads

Painted in various colors. All the precious trees are also adorned and hung with nets of tinkling bells. Adorned with celestial silk canopies, celestial flowers, and incense. The ponds of the seven precious things are completely filled with fragrant water. When the wind moves and stirs those nets of tinkling bells, they produce delightful sounds of the gods, causing sentient beings to truly rejoice. The sound of the Dharma of the nature of non-existence arises. From the celestial cymbals and music, the sound of the Dharma of the Great Vehicle arises. Any sentient beings who hear that sound of the Dharma will be separated from desire, hatred, and ignorance. They will obtain the samadhi called "not forgetting the mind of enlightenment." Manjushri, that world has no sounds of suffering and evil destinies, and no objects of women. Bhagavan, when he was previously practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, he made four great aspirations. What are the four? His first great aspiration is: When I attain unsurpassable, perfect, complete enlightenment in the future, those sentient beings who are born in families with wrong views, who have no faith in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, who are far from cherishing the mind of enlightenment, upon hearing my name, through my power, may their karmic obscurations be exhausted, and until the ultimate end of enlightenment, may they become especially excellent in right view. May they possess unwavering faith in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. May they never turn back from cherishing the mind of enlightenment. Thus he aspired. His second great aspiration is: When I attain unsurpassable, perfect, complete enlightenment in the future, those sentient beings who are born in remote borderlands where the sound of the Buddha is not heard, the sound of the Dharma is not heard, the sound of the Sangha is not heard, who take unwholesome friends as their cause, who commit sinful deeds, after dying from there, fall into the three lower realms, and completely lose all virtuous dharmas, may they, through my power, have my name enter their ears.
