The preliminary practice of unsurpassed yoga is: Since all Buddhas of the three times attain enlightenment by relying on the Guru, therefore, practice Guru yoga and pray: On the lotus and moon seat on the crown of one's ordinary head, a yellow Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable surrounded by Āli and Kāli radiates light, offering to the Sugatas, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Gathering all compassion, blessings, abilities and powers, it transforms into the nature of light and rays, dissolving into the seed syllable. Glory and radiance blaze like fire, touching sentient beings of the three realms. All karmic defilements are purified like sunlight falling on mist, planting the seeds of the three bodies in the continuum. Again, the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable and Āli and Kāli, etc., transform their place, the essence being the Guru who teaches Dharma to oneself. The form is the Buddha, the Bhagavan, majestic like a golden mountain, with auspicious marks and signs blazing with light on the crown of his head, the complete and perfect Buddha, Medicine Buddha. On his crown is Buddha Excellent Name. On his crown is Buddha King of Melodious Sound. On his crown is Buddha Stainless Gold Light. On his crown is Buddha Supreme Free from Sorrow. On his crown is Buddha Ocean of Dharma Sound. On his crown is Buddha Wisdom of Dharma, etc., raised to the height of one cubit, manifestly dwelling in the sky. All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are clear like stars in the sky, and with a mind focused on the faith of knowing, with strong renunciation, offer fervent and prolonged prayers from the depths of your heart, receiving the four empowerments. All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas dissolve into light, gradually ascending from one to two, and descending from below, the Guru Buddha on the crown dissolves. The Guru Buddha also melts like butter placed on a hot stone, dissolving into one's own body, speech, and mind. Therefore, in general, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, especially the compassion, blessings, and power of the aspirations of the Eight Sugatas, are obtained by oneself in that very instant. Thinking that all sentient beings are liberated from samsara, rest in non-fabrication. This is the great door through which all blessings and siddhis arise. Those fortunate enough to see the Guru as the Dharmakaya attain siddhis in this life and touch the supreme state. Seeing the Guru as the Sambhogakaya, one is liberated in the bardo and born in a pure land. Seeing the Guru as the Nirmanakaya, one obtains a body that practices according to the Dharma and attains the path of liberation. Those who deviate from these and lack faith in the Guru...

The minor stages, no matter how much one devotes oneself to the Dharma and the Buddhas, are like a boat without oars sinking in a river, unable to be liberated from samsara. In particular, those who, while not desiring the guru as the helmsman of liberation, treat the Dharma like bees and honey, because they abandon the guru, they turn their backs on all the Buddhas, and are said to be cast out from the protection of the Three Jewels, even if they receive instructions from a hundred gurus, they will not be liberated, and by disrespecting one, all will be disrespected. This is called a transgressor, a class that is abandoned for a long time, and those related to them will also perish together. Faith, offerings, praise, and longing for the guru are no different from faith, longing, praise, offerings, and prayers to all the Buddhas, and in particular, the mind generation and aspiration doors of the eight Sugata Buddhas, and the true source of blessings, also depend entirely on this one practice of guru yoga, therefore, in general, until the fruit is obtained, and in particular, for as long as one lives, one should diligently practice. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Second, the main stage is also divided into two: first, investigating the root of the mind; second, recognizing the nature of the mind. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! First, investigating the root is divided into three: examining the place of origin, the place of dwelling, and the essence. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! First, examining the place of origin: from beginningless samsara until this present body, sinking in the ocean of suffering of samsara, the six realms of beings suffer, outer vessel and inner content, the creator of all Buddhas and sentient beings, the basis of delusion, the basis of liberation, everything is based on mind, caused by mind, conditioned by mind, and ripens into the fruit of mind, the three paths of samsara, nirvana, and the path are all like this. Therefore, for such a creator, our own mind now, how did it arise initially with what as the basis and what as the condition, how was it accomplished, one should observe and examine well. If it is said that the initial place of origin does not exist, then, from where did the Buddha come? From where did sentient beings come? From where did samsara come? From where did nirvana come? From where did the seemingly existent come? From where did the seemingly non-existent come? From where did light come? From where did sound come? From where did smell come? From where did taste come? From where did touch come? From where did form come? From where did feeling come?
