I pray for blessings so that all sentient beings, including myself, may receive the grace, compassion, and blessings of these great prayers, such as saving from the fear of water, until enlightenment. Hūṃ! In the center of the great realm of the Dharma-dhātu Victorious One, upon a fearless lion throne, lotus, sun, and moon, the wise and glorious King of Melodious Sound, whose color is like pure gold, radiates a thousand rays of light, adorned with the symbols of the supreme giving and meditative mudras. At his heart, in the center of the moon, is a yellow Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: 吽) syllable, surrounded by a circle of dhāraṇī mantras, etc. Tadyathā, etc. Remembering the Tathāgata King of Melodious Sound, with palms joined, I prostrate. Homage! To the Bhagavan, the Tathāgata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, endowed with knowledge and conduct, the Sugata, the Knower of the World, the Tamer of Beings, the Unsurpassed One, the Teacher of Gods and Humans, the wise and glorious King of Melodious Sound, together with a retinue of hundreds of thousands of millions of bodhisattvas. I pay homage, make offerings, and take refuge. Recite seven times. Hūṃ! Offerings mixed with pure and utterly pure substances, offered with 'so, etc.' up to 'shapta'. Hūṃ! The body of the Victorious One, adorned with a moon-lotus, is the supreme protector of beings, illuminating the empty realm, fully knowing all that is knowable, expanding the circle of signs and examples. I prostrate at the feet of the King of Melodious Sound. Remembering the compassion and blessings of the Bhagavan, the wise and glorious King of Melodious Sound, together with his retinue, by the power of reciting the dhāraṇī and uttering the name, may the negative karma accumulated from farming and trade be purified, and wealth increase; may we be liberated from the suffering of the four births; may the cause of female birth be severed; may the enemy of death and suffering be eliminated; may we be saved from the fear of darkness and evil spirits; may we turn away from actions that deviate from the Dharma and engage in the Dharma; may we turn away from the Śrāvaka and Pratyekabuddha vehicles and engage in the Mahāyāna; may we be saved from the fear of the fire that destroys the great kalpa, and be born in one's own field, etc. I pray for blessings so that all sentient beings, including myself, may receive the grace, compassion, and blessings of these great prayers until enlightenment.
