By the grace of the kind ones! Listen well, fortunate ones. The original clarity and emptiness, utterly clear, The view of the essence of self-awareness is excellent. By looking well at its guide, In the absence of dwelling, movement, and consciousness, When the essence looks at itself, In the state of no meditation object and no meditator, On the very self of the essence, Being in a state like looking, Meditation without distraction, And without distraction, there is no meditation, This is called the indivisibility of appearance and emptiness, It is the self-radiance of the meaning of the nature of reality. The present awareness, huré huré, Is the self-radiance of undistracted mindfulness. Child, look, realize, understand! The essence of the meaning of one's own mind, Is the self-nature of appearing emptiness, And the self-nature of emptiness appearing, these two. The union of these two, without separation, Is the introduction to the inseparability of appearance and mind. In the state of the ground, the way it is, Like water residing in the center of the earth, Yet without stains of dirt, In the space between appearance and mind, mind itself resides. Appearance and non-appearance are needed in essence, Emptiness and non-emptiness are beyond the mind. Clarity and non-clarity are beyond expression, Free from all examples and words, Beyond the realm of mind and intellect, It is the non-thought that is completely transcendent, It is called the intention of self-born wisdom, The inexpressible co-emergent. Awakening from the center of the ordinary heart, Is the intention of the Buddhas of the three times, It is the heart essence of the Great Perfection, It is the oral instruction of the glorious Lama. With the heart treasure of the follower child, In that state, without fabrication, In the undistracted state beyond the mind, Having placed oneself in equanimity, free from expression, On the wheel of the three bodies of appearance and mind, Freedom from grasping and fixation is the best of meditation. Before it becomes the expanse of the Dharmadhatu, Cherish being connected to it at all times. From the waves of delusion of the six realms, Today, this human body endowed with Dharma, Is more than a poor person finding a jewel. For that reason, strive for practice today. In this decline of the degenerate age, Conditioned things arising by themselves are the nature of reality, And because there are many causes for various obstacles, Do not cling to permanence in life, Remember impermanence and strive for Dharma. From beginningless samsara, All actions done are the cause of suffering, One's own actions torment oneself, Do not be deluded by the activities of this life, Strive for meaningful activity—Dharma. Towards sentient beings of the six realms, like fathers and mothers, Generating love and compassion, Abandon sinful actions, Engage in virtuous actions, If you do so, life will have meaning.

Abandoning acceptance and rejection, with bodhicitta, rely on the Dharma. The fruit of karma is like a shadow following the body, never deceiving, always following. Wear the armor of detailed instructions, with acceptance and rejection, rely on the Dharma. The infallible Three Jewels, entrust them to your heart forever. In a sacred place blessed by the Guru, firmly establish your practice. May the goodness of this life and the next be like the waxing moon. This was spoken by Nyima Drakpa at the Dharma Throne Thang to the accomplished Repa Konchok Gyatso of Ga Tri Du. The scriptural authority for essence being primordially pure is: From the "Turning Back the Tide" (Thal 'gyur): Because it never existed, it is pure by purity. Because delusion and realization cease, it does not act in any way. Words and names come to an end. Thus it is said. The scriptural authority for self-existing spontaneity is: From the "Turning Back the Tide": When examined from the aspect of essence, it is empty. Because the branches unfold, wisdom is complete. Because it is self-abiding and spontaneously accomplished, there is no acceptance or rejection in this. Thus it is said. The scriptural authority for all-pervasive compassion is: From the "Turning Back the Tide": From the aspect of the purity of the elements, there is nothing to do, yet it is complete in one. Like the sun and its rays, its nature is without obscuration. Thus it is said. From "Self-Arisen": Without seeing, seeing is complete, vision is complete. It is the vision of the Dharmakaya. Without doing, without arising, without ceasing, it is the fruit of the Dharmakaya. Without practice, practice is complete, accomplishment is complete. It is the activity of the Dharmakaya. One arises, two arise, everything arises. It is the quality of the Dharmakaya. Thus, the scriptural authority for vision, fruit, qualities, etc., being complete in the essence itself. And from the "Guhyagarbha Tantra": From any of the ten directions and four times, a complete Buddha cannot be found. Mind itself is the complete Buddha, so do not seek the Buddha elsewhere. Even if you search, you will not find the Victorious One. Thus, the definitive scriptural authority that one's own pure mind is the Buddha. And from the "Six Spaces Tantra": In the mind itself, without arising or feeling, the appearance of vipashyana without thought is said to be the intention of exhausting coming and going. I, Samantabhadra, have taught it. In the mind itself, without grasping, the appearance without cessation is said to be the samadhi of great bliss. I, Samantabhadra, have taught it. In the mind itself, without grasping, the great self-arisen appearance is said to be the intention without cessation or conceptualization. Samantabhadra
