Born from... The trunk of the wish-fulfilling tree. When branches and fruits adorn it. I request the attainment of desired accomplishments. Born from the merits accumulated in the past. The leisure and endowment of a meaningful human body. When this supreme friend is found. Attain enlightenment in one lifetime. The friend who is the embodiment of all Buddhas. When meeting the supreme teacher. Without partiality or bias. Partake of the nectar of Sutra and Tantra. Having been born in Do-tod Sokrong. When meditating in Sermo Dzong. Without laziness in diligence. Please perfect the generation and completion stages. This was offered to Dorje Drakpo Trinle Gyatso. Ah! Born in the sacred land of India. The tree of the supreme medicine, Arura. When adorned with beautiful golden fruits. The practitioner strives with diligence. Use it as an antidote to hundreds of diseases. Emerged from the teachings of Shakya. The profound and secret unsurpassable vehicle. When directly seeing it in one's own experience. See nakedly, self-liberate. Cut off the evil disease of afflictions. Born from the causes and conditions of parents. The borrowed house of the illusory body and aggregates. Relying on the protection of solitude. Please seize a fortress of liberation. This was offered as a playful remark to the ever-living physician Trinle. Conditioned phenomena are like bubbles in water. There is no measure to when they will burst. Companions are like guests at a market. Impermanent, they quickly separate. Samsara is a city of suffering. There is not even a moment of happiness. Therefore, practice with single-mindedness. Therefore, abandon worldly affairs. Therefore, rely on solitary mountain retreats. Therefore, practice.
