Pray! To the local deities such as those who partake of food offerings, placing the vajra on their crowns with a command, bestowing the nectar of samaya into their mouths, entrusting them as protectors after giving secret names. For the sake of the Buddha's teachings, practitioners, and the well-being of sentient beings, may the vows not be broken from above, middle, or below. Please uphold good and bad, and devour enemies. May you be pleased with the offering of blood-food tormas. Therefore, please remember your vows. Please assist us, the lineage holders and practitioners, in practicing according to the Dharma. If the entrusted activities are not accomplished, then you, the Dharma protectors, will also break your vows. If the practitioners who hold the lineage of Padmasambhava do not make offerings and praises, then they will also break the vows of the great lineage holders. Therefore, from the sky of the expanse, in the form of a peaceful body, with the intention of joyful power, descending in a heroic manner, we request you to abide in a position of powerful strength. A lotus stamen silk cushion, we offer to the great Dharma protectors. To the primordial, great Kadag (primordial purity), we prostrate without gathering or scattering. The four continents, the three thousand worlds, adorned with the sun, moon, and stars. Mount Meru, the Playful Ocean, and the Immeasurable Palace, we offer as precious outer offerings. The eight auspicious symbols, the eight emblems, the enjoyments of gods and humans, forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures. Songs, dances, the sounds of musical instruments, we offer with self-arisen inner offerings. Means and wisdom, bliss and emptiness, unsurpassed, the great nectar of uncontaminated wisdom, the essence beyond mind, the Dharmakaya, we offer with vast purity. Furthermore, to the great Dharma protectors, with outer, inner, and secret supports, substances, and enjoyments that accord with the mind, at all times and in all ways, we offer like clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings. Your retinue and companions, and outer, inner, and secret ministers, subjects, and children, gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, and the assemblies of local deities, we also offer to. We fulfill the body, speech, and mind, we offer with burning samaya substances, we praise and increase glory, we confess all transgressions and errors, we beseech you to grant supreme and common siddhis, accomplish the four activities, liberate from harming enemies and obstacles, avert and transform diseases, evil spirits, hindrances, and obstacles, protect people, wealth, and retinue, and especially, please restore forgotten wisdom, and be the mountain of refuge from fear.

In a hidden place, build a home; across the flowing water, erect a bridge; on solid rock, carve a path. If you fall, have a staff to lean on; when traveling far, be a helpful friend; when dwelling at home, be a source of support. May the tasks entrusted be accomplished. Then, recite the offering words for incense smoke: Hūṃ, I take refuge in the lineage holder Padmasambhava, generating the mind of bodhicitta for the benefit of beings. May the incense smoke and offerings transform into nectar. May I, clear as the deity of my yidam, invite the guests of the incense offering with light from my heart. Tanglha and his retinue, please descend. Hūṃ, with faith and samaya, I invite the great protector Tanglha and his retinue. With longing in my heart, I invite you; may all your retinue come here. Offerings suitable for you include: The smoke clouds of turquoise juniper, and white sweet enjoyments, medicinal herbs, and grains, Silk, wool, colored threads, tiger and leopard skins, Adorned with gold, silver, copper, iron, and all kinds of vessels. Thick clouds of incense smoke with the five desirable qualities, With this offering cloud that fulfills all needs and desires, I purify the great king, the deity of the Tsang lineage, the five-crested one, and his retinue. Consorts, mothers and sons, sisters and brothers, And the inner, outer, and secret ministers, Allies, gods, demons, and the eight classes, I purify all of them with their retinues. Through the merit of this purification, May the Buddha's teachings flourish, May the supreme fruit ripen, May the lama have a long life, May the land and beings be happy and well, May my intentions be accomplished according to dharma. At all times and in all places, be a helpful friend, Support me, back me up, increase my power, Grant me the accomplishments of my actions. Then, sing this song: Homage to Jñāna Mahāguru! O you, the five-crested Gandharva, Dwelling on the eighth bhūmi, with great qualities, Illuminating the good and bad of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa. Āla, in the primordial time of the kalpa, The self-aware imprints have not separated, Like removing stains with a mirror, The deluded appearances of the eight consciousnesses, The three realms where karma is accumulated, This outer vessel, inner essence, and sentient beings, The various displays of magical skill, Appearing as non-existent, empty as appearing, All these deluded appearances of grasping and being grasped, Are primordially liberated, pure dharmakāya, Beyond victory and defeat, beyond the mind.
