May I never be separated from the excellent support of a body endowed with the eighteen qualities of leisure and endowment, and may I cultivate the conduct of a bodhisattva, well adorned with the goodness of other assemblies of endowments. May I comprehend in my mind with profound wisdom all the dharmas of the ground, path, and fruition, as well as the ten practices of listening, explaining, reading, and religious practice. In particular, may I always meditate inseparably on the supreme, unconditioned nature of reality, which is profound and free from elaboration, in the glaciers, mountain valleys, and forest edges, as a continuous stream of yoga. By this life, may I overturn samsara, and may the fruit of supreme accomplishment not become meaningless, but may I exhaust it to the end in the ground of the self-luminous nature. Even if I am not liberated in the bardo of birth, may I awaken the dharmakaya of the clear light of death on the path, and may I enjoy the primordially liberated space in the ultimate and supreme fruit of liberation and delusion. Just as a lotus is not stained by mud, may I attain freedom and work for the benefit of others. In the three realms and six realms of the world, may I be a guide to the liberation of all, in accordance with their respective forms and languages. May the teachers, lineages, and teachings abide wherever they are, auspicious and blessed, without discord and free from fear. May the supreme Dharma wheel, endowed with the five perfections, be turned. May the world be ruled by goodness, and may all the kings, ministers, subjects, retinues, and beings be diligent in accumulating merit and devoted to the Dharma. May the three jewels and the three roots be supreme, and may the teachings flourish. May all adversities and harms be pacified, and may all aspirations be fulfilled in accordance with the Dharma, such as enemy armies, famine, hail, frost, poisonous snakes, dangerous borders, fire, water, wild animals, the fear of kings, and the eighty great fears, as well as being beaten, plundered, robbed, violated, and subjected to involuntary circumstances. Thus it was said. Said when seeing the great kinsman Tangla Mountain in the north. Namo Maha Guruye! Sanskrit Romanization: namaḥ mahāguruye, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Great Guru), Great Lord, the general glory of all Buddhas, Holder of lineage, Tshewang Orgyen, I call from the heart with unwavering faith, Look from the expanse of your compassionate eyes, Self-nature Vidyadhara Padmasambhava, Completely manifest with ornaments and attire, O King of the Gandharvas, remember your oath, Victorious Padma, liberation through seeing, In the early part of this fortunate eon, Came to the snowy land of Tibet, You gods, nagas, yakshas, and, Gandharvas, rakshasas, non-humans,
