In (someone's) face, it seemed like a golden beverage offering was made. Immediately after that, without knowing who gave it, a cup of barley beer and a piece of meat were given into the hands of both the woman and me. The woman immediately said, "This is an object for attaining accomplishment." When it seemed like we ate and drank a few mouthfuls, we felt greatly satisfied with the food and drink. In short, inside that house, there was a terrible smell like burning incense, and everywhere we stepped, there was soft mud of blood. It was burning like the heat of a great fire, and many flashes of light like lightning were darting around, making the whole body inside and out feel stinging, hot, and itchy, with hair standing on end and goosebumps. If it weren't for the kindness of that woman, it would have been unbearable even for a moment. Then, that woman, holding my hand, led me to a large copper frame staircase. When we reached the top of the stairs, she handed me a silver mirror from her side, saying, "Take this as a gift to meet the great master." Then, she opened a huge, old red door, inside of which was a large square room with a surrounding corridor on the outside. In the center of the room, inside a radiant object that was shaped like a stupa but not actually a stupa, was the red-colored Great Compassionate One in union with the consort, with the son Norzin on the right and the daughter Rig Ngak Dzinma on the left, along with the eight close sons surrounding the palace. In front of the Avalokiteśvara statue in that palace, on top of a precious crystal throne with eight legs, sat the Great Master of Oddiyana, resembling the realization of Padma Oebar (Padmasambhava). In front of that statue, a mandala for practice, with particularly excellent decorations and arrangements, was set up. On each of the four sides, on a cushion of one cubit each, sat four women pulling protection cords. Outside the four protection cords, sixteen young men and women, with clear reproductive power, adorned with the six ornaments of male and female yogis, were diligently chanting mantras and dancing continuously. On the left and right sides of that great mandala, sat eight rows of vidyadharas.

Me, wearing the attire of a mantra practitioner, adorned with a zabe and a lotus hat. I was merely seated upon a cushion that was about an elbow's length above the ground. Around those rows, many male and female demons were encircling, and they were diligently engaging in the sound of mantra recitation. Those rows of vidyadharas also seemed to be conducting rituals for many different kinds of activities. Then, I held the silver mirror between my joined palms, placed it before the great teacher, and prostrated. That woman then said to Guru Rinpoche: "Kye Guru Rinpoche, this child is the one you said to bring to this great accomplishment practice, the reincarnation of Khon Ludwang, please look upon him with compassion and bestow your blessings." After she said this, Guru Rinpoche said: "Child, you sit on that cushion, and without distraction, enter into practice." In front of Guru Rinpoche, there was an empty cushion, upon which lay a zabe and a lotus hat. That woman placed the cushion against a pillar and said, "You sit there." As soon as I sat on that cushion, the great teacher said to me: "Child, it is good that you have arrived now. In this place, after opening the mandala of the Hevajra empowerment, one day has passed since entering into the empowerment practice. Now, until seven days, you must practice diligently, and without distraction, engage in the sessions of practice and recitation with intense effort. This place is a palace adorned with the light of the lotus. I am the vidyadhara Padmasambhava. The one who assists you is the dakini Yeshe Tsogyal. These rows on the left and right are the twenty-five vidyadharas, and those who have attained realization by practicing the profound secret mantra in the snowy land. The mandala consorts are the women who previously made aspirations in the sacred site of Samye Chimphu in the snowy land of Tibet, in the mandala of the Hevajra empowerment wheel. These yogis who dance the mantra dance are the eight great tertöns, and those women are the eight mothers of that time. Those who go around reciting in the red and black market are the fortunate men and women of the rakshasa land. This great mandala is also the recitation medicine and
