稍微恢复了些力气，在澹水河边吃了一块生羊肉。因为口渴，想多吃点也吃不下。稍微躺了一会儿就睡着了。这时，有人说：“起来，该走了。”醒来一看，是一个年轻女子。我问：“你从哪里来？”她说：“我从囊谦（Nangchen）的噶尔（Gar）来。”我问：“去哪里？”她说：“我们俩去同一个地方。”我说：“如果是这样，那就太好了，我害怕狗，不敢走。有你在就好多了，现在可以走了。”她说：“我也害怕狗。”我问：“吃肉吗？”她说：“不吃。”于是我们一起走，看到有五个帐篷。刚走近，就跑出一条狗。我害怕会有更多的狗来。她说：“快跑！快跑！”结果那个女子不见了。很多狗冲过来，我被扑倒在地，身上没有一块地方没被咬到。我的碗、口袋、禅裙、围裙都被咬得稀烂，没有一块完整的地方。下裙更是被撕得粉碎。身上到处都是没有伤口的青紫色瘀伤。狗咬的伤口在行走时非常疼痛。之后，我一边往山上走，一边哭喊，声音凄厉。天色也渐渐暗了下来。我用尽全力从山坡上跑下去。在前面的山坳里，有人在哭，听说那里有个修行人。我害怕狗会追上来，不敢过去，就蹲在一块大石头旁，把石头当作枕头。星星很明亮。我的心被悲伤和恐惧所占据。身体也非常烫。过了一会儿，我听到有人说话。我非常害怕，不知道是人还是妖魔鬼怪。这时，从不远的地方传来一个声音：“小和尚，别害怕，是我。”我问：“你是谁？”他说：“我从玛吉（Maki）修行人住的地方来，看到你掉下来了，所以过来看看。”我想：“我现在连路都看不清，在这个漆黑的夜晚，我都没看到修行人的住处，他们是怎么看到我的呢？”他走过来，原来是一个穿着华丽的成熟女子。那个女子说：“现在把衣服脱了睡觉吧。”我非常害怕。心想：“难道这个女妖要把我带到狗嘴里去吗？这比被狗咬还可怕。”我哭了起来，也不知道该哭还是该害怕。

Having regained some strength, I ate a piece of raw mutton by the side of the Tam Chhu River. Because of thirst, I couldn't eat much even if I wanted to. After lying down for a while, I fell asleep. Then, someone said, "Get up, it's time to go." When I woke up, there was a young woman. I asked, "Where are you from?" She said, "I'm from Gar in Nangchen." I asked, "Where are you going?" She said, "We're going to the same place." I said, "If that's the case, that's great. I'm afraid of dogs and can't go. It's better with you here, now I can go." She said, "I'm also afraid of dogs." I asked, "Do you eat meat?" She said, "No." So we went together, and we saw five nomad tents. As we approached, a dog ran out. I was afraid that more dogs would come. She said, "Run! Run!" As a result, the woman disappeared. Many dogs rushed over, and I was knocked to the ground. There was no part of my body that wasn't bitten. My bowl, pocket, zen skirt, and apron were all torn to shreds, with no intact place. My lower skirt was torn to pieces. My body was covered in bluish-purple bruises without any wounds. The dog bites were very painful when walking. After that, I went up the mountain, crying and wailing loudly. The sky gradually darkened. I ran down the hillside with all my might. In the valley ahead, someone was crying, and it was said that there was a practitioner there. I was afraid that the dogs would catch up, so I didn't dare to go there. I squatted next to a large rock, using it as a pillow. The stars were bright. My heart was filled with sorrow and fear. My body was also very hot. After a while, I heard someone speaking. I was very scared, not knowing if it was a human or a demon. Then, from not far away, a voice said, "Little monk, don't be afraid, it's me." I asked, "Who are you?" He said, "I came from the place where the practitioner in Maki lives, and I saw you falling, so I came to see you." I thought, "I can't even see the road now. In this dark night, I didn't even see the practitioner's place. How did they see me?" He came over, and it turned out to be a mature woman dressed in fine clothes. The woman said, "Now take off your clothes and sleep." I was very scared. I thought, "Is this demon going to take me to the dogs' mouths? This is more terrifying than being bitten by dogs." I burst into tears, not knowing whether to cry or be afraid.
