命勤的词义是:Prāṇa(藏文:སྲོག་,梵文天城体:प्राण,梵文罗马拟音:prāṇa,汉语字面意思:命)是命,也就是气。Āyāma(藏文:ཨཱ་ཡ་མ,梵文天城体:आयाम,梵文罗马拟音:āyāma,汉语字面意思:延长、控制)。

It generates attachment and delusion towards the three intermediate evils. Similarly, it can be applied to other chakras as well. These four bindus, when stained, are the four faces of the basis-time wheel; in the path-time when purifying various obscurations, they are the four faces of the wheel; and when all obscurations are removed, they are the four faces of the fruition-time wheel. The main intention of the tantra, which states that all of samsara and nirvana are emanated from the four faces, is also this. The etymology of prāṇāyāma is: Prāṇa (Tibetan: སྲོག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: प्राण, Sanskrit Romanization: prāṇa, literal Chinese meaning: life) is life, which is wind. Āyāma (Tibetan: ཨཱ་ཡ་མ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आयाम, Sanskrit Romanization: āyāma, literal Chinese meaning: extension, control). It means to prevent it, or to strive for it, or to classify it, which means to possess it. The measure is from the central channel until the wind descends. Cutting off the winds on its left and right, various signs of residing in the central channel will appear. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will prophesy, and the direct perception of the six faculties will arise. Enjoying the six uncontaminated realms, this is the direct perception that is mainly the mental direct perception. The aggregate of formations is the wind element, etc. Ultimately, meaningful accomplishment will be attained. Fourth is holding: The very entry of wind and mind into the central channel, dissolving into the indestructible bindu, is meditation for the sake of making it extremely stable. There are two aspects to this: preliminary and main practice. First, hold the vase breathing of the navel. Similarly, after holding each of the five chakras separately, thinking that the life force dissolves into the central channel is in accordance with holding. The main practice is to hold the vase breathing in five or six chakras as desired, so that the life force enters the bindu of the central channel, and the blazing of inner heat generates a special bliss-warmth of the bliss of innate nature, and because it can bind the bindu without leaking, it leads to unwavering bliss. The object of this is bliss-wind, which is the wind mixed with the indestructible bindu. Because it is held firmly, the wind and mind enter the subtle bindu in the dhūti, making it unmoving. That is, together with the bodily posture, in the center of each chakra where the color, number, etc., are clearly visualized, thinking that the twenty-five elements of the left and right dissolve into the indestructible bindu, holding the vase breathing is the main practice. At this time, because stability is attained by the mixing of ascending and descending life forces, the inner heat blazes, warming all the openings of the channels. All the channels and bindus boil and awaken as if they are bubbling. All the knots of the channels are severed by fire. The bindus burn and shake individually. The elements gather up and down and look.

These are those that are slightly filled below. Even if one relies on women to generate bliss and desire, the semen will not be lost, the body will be stable, even if one does not eat, one will not be hungry, and even if one eats, it will be digested. It is called the Illusory Vajra Great Belly. The downward cleansing will not be lost, the body will be light, and happiness will increase. There will be no disease, no death, and the movement of afflictions and winds will cease. This arises from the power of meditating on this path itself, but even if one is not accustomed to it, or if one meditates on the bliss of burning and dripping in a relaxed posture, it is also fine. The actual signs are: In the central channel, there is a subtle black line, which has the form of Nāda, like a circle of a horse's tail bent into a circle, surrounded by a wall, and has the form of a bindu, blazing with immeasurable light. Within the subtle line, all ten signs appear completely, and a scene adorned with various pure and impure appearances such as body images arises. That also arises in the center of the space where the fierce fire of the Ḍākinī burns. Many arise from the accomplishment of one sound. When a beginner meditates in accordance with the life-sustaining practice, if the fire element is strong, then the temperature is high, dust arises, and the appearance of the bindu falling occurs, as well as the feeling of the bindu dripping from the small uvula, etc. There, if some people lose their physical strength due to loss obstacles and decay, then instructions on guiding and spreading, and not losing the body's essence should be given. If the wind element rises and the head aches and the body is cold, then the bindu has not been digested, and if the body turns blue and dry and happiness disappears, then the bindu has not increased. These are eliminated by increasing the bliss of the path of desire. Also, during this stage of holding, although there are times when a slight obstacle to the transfer of collecting life-force occurs because the burning appearance of the fierce fire opens the channels, because one has obtained whatever power is appropriate over the winds and mind, the practitioner himself will know how to eliminate obstacles without relying on other instructions. After the life-force exertion is completed, one will be liberated from most obstacles. After the first half of the holding is completed, even the name of meditation obstacle will not exist. During the holding, the vase breathing holding in each chakra and the relaxed posture, etc., should be learned in detail from the instruction manual. The definition is: Dhāraṇī, which is to separate the air from movement and hold it in the central channel. This is the direct perception of the mind, that is, the actor of the wisdom of the life-force dissolving in the central channel. The temporary result is the ten powers.
