Block with the right hand, face to the right, and forcefully exhale from the left nostril. Repeat this many times to move the left channel or the equalizing channel. At this time, the downward-moving air must be fixed in its place. If moving the left channel, the mudra and exhalation-inhalation are reversed from the previous ones, and it will change. This is also boiling the twisted air with the secret instruction of squeezing the breasts. If the left and right are exchanged a few times, the equalizing channel will definitely arise. Once in the equalizing channel, performing vase breathing or vajra recitation is praised for accomplishing longevity. Second, for the coarse air vase breathing, divide the remaining air into nine or three parts. Slightly inhale the downward-clearing air. Quickly inhale the upward air and press down to transform it into the navel, swallowing saliva. Then, guide the downward-clearing air from the right, left, and center, pressing it into the navel in union. If it feels unbearable, take three small inhalations and press down. If it is still unbearable, exhale slowly and finally exhale forcefully. Practice vase breathing in this way repeatedly. When meditating on vase breathing, focus attention on the navel and primarily meditate on the navel. For beginners, it is said that meditating on vase breathing up to the heart chakra will cause great obstacles to transference, so do not meditate on it. However, there is no harm in meditating moderately. When beginners meditate, after performing about twenty navel vase breaths, perform one or two heart vase breaths, guiding the navel vase breath to the heart. Return it to the navel and exhale. Do not guide the navel vase breath upwards to the throat, forehead, crown, etc. Hold a gentle vase breath there, and before exhaling, you must return it to the navel. Again, at the end of each of these places, perform one round of secret vase breathing. If you are worried about air accumulating, contract the upper body at the end of the heart vase breath and make a "Ha" sound. At the end of the throat, close the mouth, guide the throat air, and exhale. At the end of the forehead and crown vase breathing, block the nose and exhale from the skull air, etc. Learn these practical methods. When the air goes out, focus the mind on the signs. When entering, mix the mind and signs. When staying, break the experience of mixing the mind and emptiness-form and relax. Also focus on the navel. By practicing in this way, the duration of one large vase breath is at least thirty-six small beads, forty-two medium, and being able to do one hundred and eight is very powerful. Gradually increase the duration of retention inside the body.

Focus your mind on the arising of clear light empty form. Once accustomed, clear signs will appear in any desired chakra. You will understand the advantages and disadvantages of the wind entering that particular chakra of the body. At this time, forcing the practice will cause the carotid artery to swell. First, from the nostrils to sixteen finger-widths in the sky, focus your mind on the empty form, gradually bringing it closer, focusing on the empty form appearing in the nose, accompanying the breath. Even if the empty form flickers, do not follow it, but meditate where it remains on its own. Once it is stable, the empty form will always appear clearly at the nostrils. Through this, you will know the color, shape, size, and number of flows of the winds arising from the breath. If this happens, practicing Kumbhaka together for six months will lead to stability. At that time, simply by relying on the wind to change intention, the eight activities such as pacifying will be accomplished effortlessly. In this stage of actual practice of vital energy, a coarse and clear empty form is difficult to enter the central channel, and is easily bound. A subtle and clear one is easy to enter and difficult to bind. If it is not clear, both entering and binding are difficult, and the effect is small. Practicing the Kumbhaka of coarse wind is beneficial for improving the channels, and virtues arise without obstruction, but in most cases, painful experiences will occur initially. If the wind gathers all at once, the body will tremble involuntarily, and a sudden fever will arise. Experiences will become very intense, falling in a red and blue state, losing consciousness, and so on. The wind gradually enters, and the empty form rotates within itself. The body feels like it is being wrapped by a large tree trunk, and there is a feeling of wind being blocked. After getting used to it a little, pleasure and pain will alternate. After getting used to it, it will eventually reach equanimity. On top of all the above-mentioned signs appearing, if the earth wind is bound, the body will lose balance and not want to sit up. It feels heavy and coarse, and sees yellow-like visions. If the water wind is bound, the sensation of cold, soft water will dominate, and sometimes both cold and hot sensations will appear in the water. If fire is bound, the sensation of burning heat will appear. If wind is bound, the body will become spacious and pulsate, and the sensation of wind will appear. If space wind is bound, there will be a bluish-green color, a comfortable feeling, and touching with the hands, etc. Unless specifically touched, the existence of the body will not be felt, as well as the types of holes and space.
