Emaho! Sustaining the state of recognizing the true nature of reality, In a state of unwavering posture and relaxed effort, In a state of subtle, clear, and open "ha," The way to eliminate all conceptual activity is without trace. Abandoning any anticipation, retrospection, rejection, or acceptance, Without clinging to the idea of dwelling or not dwelling, Without any entanglements, with a firm mind, The mind of shamatha, which is focused and restrained, Although it is not like the way of practicing, In that state of equanimity, having gained the confidence of self-possession, Once found, the tight awareness is like the wind, Suddenly causing pain is completely cut off. No matter how long you leave it, it's soft and relaxed. No matter how you do it, it's clear and bright. No matter where you look, it's empty and open. From wherever there is no discomfort, it is the nature of, The space-like bliss, the wisdom of clear light. In the realm of equality, where the target is extinguished, The winds of thought bind and doubt, The net is completely free from the unwavering samadhi. Without becoming accustomed and stable, Just placing the view in the realm of understanding, Scattered, vague, and fleeting appearances are of no benefit. Therefore, abandoning all activities, single-pointed habituation is important. The winds of conceptual delusion and the sound of wisdom, Whichever is habituated, like the axis of a scale, will be high or low. Burn the shell of delusion with the fire of wisdom, Day and night, strive for clear light without interruption. Having meditated in this way, on the fruit of habituation, The nature of this supreme path, shamatha, And the way vipashyana is connected in union arises. Deliberate shamatha is not intellectual vipashyana. Spontaneous meditation that abides naturally, And the indivisible nature of self-arisen clear light vipashyana, The sun of the yogic path in the center of the heart, From the unfailing handprint of rising, The darkness of delusion and thought ceases in the realm of reality. Because self-grasping, attachment, hatred, etc., arising from delusion, There is absolutely no opportunity to abide, The more habituation, the less affliction. At that time, whatever arises from skill, the play of the five wisdoms, Unobstructed, ordinary attachment, etc., Unlike taking the path through understanding, It is extremely easy to become self-sufficient through experience. Those who meditate on the worldly path, Although they suppress anger with a peaceful mind, They cannot harm the mind of self-grasping. Therefore, the mind that tastes outward boasts of "I." In great equality, the meaning of selflessness is noble.

Ah! We. If the cave of delusion, thinking "I" and "other," collapses, Even if the qualities of realization increase like the expanse of space, The sign of this path is the absence of pride. Even without deliberate meditation, the power of compassion Draws one in effortlessly, naturally. Without making painful efforts with words, Wisdom spontaneously arises in the ocean of sutras and tantras. If that happens, it is the supreme path of the Great Perfection, The unmistakable sign of hitting the essential point. Otherwise, experiences of bliss, clarity, and non-thought are fleeting. As soon as they arise, those with limited learning Become arrogant and puffed up in high places. Those who hold onto others' standards, with minds full of self-grasping, If they cannot bear the heat of harsh words, How can they endure the flames of the Avici hell? Without knowing that the cause of samsara lies within oneself, They say there is no fear of falling into samsara. Making loud noises and acting superior, they are suspicious of others For even the slightest harm, which is absurd. Therefore, in order for one's own mind to be manifest to oneself, Until one has gained the conviction that the strong bonds Of hypocrisy, pretense, and self-praise, under the guise of "truth," Have been loosened, do not speak of meditation. This mind is subtle and profound, difficult to examine, With many different forms, unable to distinguish, Unstable and deceptive, making the head confused. Therefore, even though it is one's own mind, it is difficult to grasp its measure. Especially during meditation, there are many experiences, And the difference between experience and realization, and the distinction, And even within that, there are many layers of outer and inner shells, One cannot distinguish without a wisdom instruction. If one gains the unwavering conviction of wisdom like the sky, There is no mistake, and the qualities are great. Many similarities that are similar, Are abandoned and abandoned, and one goes to the place of wisdom. Therefore, the supreme doctrine of the Great Vehicle, If one is not skilled in the essential points of the path of sutra and tantra, Or if one does not have such knowledge oneself, Then it is precious to be guided by the path of the guru's instructions. Going straight on the unerring path, And taking it upon oneself to engage with fierce faith and diligence, Then in this life, one can quickly attain the state of a Victor, Or attain the conduct of a child of the Victors. Without benefiting others, there is no Mahayana path, So what is so amazing about merely attaining peace for oneself? To alleviate the suffering of beings pervading space, Consider what kind of benefit you have the ability to do. If one gains the conviction of the qualities of following the conduct of Manjushri and Samantabhadra, Then one will not turn back.
