In the one taste. Since birth and cessation are absent, the three times are inherently blissful. 2 Since it is free from edges and center, it abandons the parts of directions. Free from all dualistic dharmas, it is the equality of non-duality. The dharma realized in the hearts of the Buddhas of the three times, The profound, beyond the mind, is the Great Perfection. 3 It cannot be pointed out by words, mental judgment, or views. Its nature is clear light, its own radiance, self-arising. If left uncorrected, without grasping, this is it. Purify your own mind, O yogi. 4 If the guru's instructions lack the essential points, The years of meditation and practice are spent adding to conceptual thoughts. Since the bonds of thought are not cut, Those who chatter without essence are truly pitiful. 5 In the naturally limitless, primordial sky, Even empty skies dissolve and transform. In the state of whatever is, existent or non-existent, That realm of destruction abides in one's own mind. 6 Leave it relaxed, without grasping, and this is it. Irreversible certainty becomes clearer and clearer. Drawn by the waves of the truth of dharma, There is not even one place to turn back. 7 This stream of uncorrected mindfulness is like a river, And continues like the tip of a flame. By constantly cultivating it, in the expanse of great awareness, All the mirages of appearance in the sky. 8 Are flickering, unsteady, without trace, and empty. Through the experience of being free from benefit, harm, acceptance, and rejection, The treasure of great bliss that loosens the bonds of thought, Find it yourself, from yourself. 9 Forced meditation is the cause of heart and wind disease. Mental views are like painting colors in the sky. All are self-inflicted suffering, ways of deceiving oneself. Knowing this, abandon them all at once and be at ease. 1 In this degenerate age of coarse afflictions, Like a butter lamp in the wind, other antidotes Are difficult to develop with strength. By awakening from within the appearances of the guru's compassion and self-arising wisdom, 11 All the endless thickets of thorns of existence, Burn them in an instant with the sharp flame of the vajra, And possess the strength that no one can take away. 12 In the manner of the sky vajra lion, Well grasp the kingdom of the vajra essence. For those fortunate ones who are devoted to the meaning of the essence, Establish them in the great primordial kingdom. 13 Iron Tiger, month 2, day 8. Wisdom is primordially unchanging in the three times. Nature Abiding memory.

This is that very time. If one follows the unreal movements of self-arising thoughts, then that is the reality of delusion. For the beginner, relying on thoughts, the natural state of mind has both memory and non-memory. The nature of things has neither memory nor non-memory. The unchanging, unconditioned is from the very beginning beyond the realm of memory and non-memory, delusion and liberation. The ground-essence is free from benefit and harm, without deliberate effort. Whatever arises as the thought of self-power is an empty form, like a mirage in the sky, free from benefit and harm. Remaining in that knowing state is the path of yoga. If one follows thoughts, there is the appearance of benefit and harm. But even that appearance is self-deception by one's own thoughts. In the root of nothing whatsoever, cut off attachment, and in the uncreated nature, rest in the path of non-attachment. When one spends all time in that way, the flaw of thought disappears, and one is liberated into the thought-free Dharmakaya. Even if karma and afflictions increase, one is not afraid. This was written on the 25th day of the 1st month in Gawa (place name), due to remembering Rinpoche. Awareness is unchanging, like the sky. Good and bad, happiness and suffering, in any case, are free from benefit and harm. Remaining in that, the waves of thoughts, subside without affirmation or negation, is the path of yoga. Unreal movements are like mirages in the sky. Although the essence is empty, it deceives childish beings. If one follows that, one binds oneself, and the wheel of confused appearances of existence never ceases. Aho! In the control of awareness, subdue discursive thoughts, and let the false cave of the self-power mind disappear into the expanse. When the nature of mind has taken the original throne, there is no other activity than becoming a Buddha. The third of the key words was written on the 25th day of the 1st month of the Water Dragon year. To the Vajra of the mind, the all-pervading lord of all families, I prostrate with the hand of recognizing one's own face without separation. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana are the magical display of the mind. If the root is cut in the ground-essence, then that is the ultimate meaning. Various memories and awareness are unobstructed and clear. The essence is free from grasping, empty and clear. Unspeakable, one's own awareness is naked. Unfabricated, abiding naturally, spontaneously. When one guards this without forgetting, memory and awareness are continuous, in the state of hrig ge pa. Appearance and mind are inseparable, in the state of re wa le ba. Bound by the moving wind, in the state of zim me yol me ba. Without a target, in the state of ha re tha le ba. In that state, relax, relax, and rest evenly. Once one is accustomed, all appearances and sounds, inside and outside, are like illusions and dreams, empty forms hral ma hrol.
