Although it seems to be without existence, there are many subtle movements. At that time, increase it with diligence. From placing the antidote to this point, it is interrupted by sinking and excitement. It is the time to enter again, so with mindfulness, let the mind be equanimous. It is very important to tame it as appropriate. At the end of that with the power of diligence, it is not interrupted by conceptual thoughts. The steadfastness is like a clear ocean, like the experience of being without waves. The aspect of being diligent arises. At this time, one should abide in equanimity. For a long time, single-pointedly, one can enter without interruption. Those times with effort, because of the increase, even without effort, the samadhi at the time of entering is obtained by the power of familiarity. At this time, by what does one abide? The mind of desire is single-pointed, becoming the nature of accomplishment. Like the king of mountains, unmoving, it is the beginning of the ultimate experience. By becoming familiar with that state, the body and mind become extremely pliable and workable. That is also first coarse, and then that ceases and becomes subtle. One obtains the extremely pliable purity. Thus, by abandoning the five faults, by relying on the door of the eight efforts, with the six powers and the four efforts, the abiding of the mind with its stages, by gradually practicing the nine methods, gradually the five samadhi experiences arise, possessing extreme pliability, quiescence itself will be accomplished. Those are the ways of expanding. One abides with joy and generates effort. One abides with mindfulness and abandons distraction. When it is peaceful, one abides in a state of equanimity. When one abides naturally, it is accomplished. Joy, effort, mindfulness, and awareness, equanimity, and good abiding. These six are in the middle. One abides with joy and generates effort. One abides with awareness and equanimity. Or these four can also accomplish it. One abides with joy, or if one gathers them, one only trains in abiding. This is the oral instruction of meditation. Written by Mipham Namgyal, may all beings obtain supreme meditation. This was also written on the 22nd day of the 11th month of the Water Horse year, during a retreat on Vajrakilaya. Good! ༈ Homage to Manjushri! If one focuses on the mind, quiescence is accomplished. Gradually, superior seeing of the nature of reality arises. In that state of emptiness of one's own heart, clear, luminous, and bright, the awareness is gathered inward and abides. Of the mind

That is called focusing on the mind. If you focus on the mind, the mind is here. Although this instruction does not point to anything specific, if there is a mind, it is within the body, and nowhere else but in the center of the heart. Thoughts that you don't want to think about keep arising, and you keep looking at the source of these fleeting thoughts. Don't search for the mind, just leave it as it is. You don't need to worry about whether there is a place to leave it or not. It's enough to have a mind to leave. When the mind is inside, when you are sleeping or sick, just leave it as it is. That is the method of resting, you don't need anything else. Like sunlight shining on water, the rays shimmer and sway, the thoughts of the mind flow quickly. You can't stop them by blocking them directly. If you leave the water still without disturbing it, the appearance of the rays will also naturally subside. Likewise, when the flow of thoughts ceases, know the source of arising and rest naturally. In this state, without speaking, the stream of thoughts continues uninterrupted like a flowing stream. Even if it seems empty, rest there. Even if it seems clear, rest there. Even if it seems to be moving, stay there. Naked, bare, whatever happens, rest there. Empty, clear, moving, even if you know it, abandon chasing after it. Let awareness rest in its natural state. Get used to this for a long time. Abandon discriminating thoughts. Sometimes when it doesn't move and becomes dull, rest naturally in the midst of dullness. Sometimes when thoughts arise strongly, the moving thought is the mind, so look at it and rest. Don't continue the thought, hold onto your own ground. Then the thought will naturally stop. Moving and not moving, everything, even if it's just a feeling, is the emptiness of the mind. The mind is called resting naturally. Is the mind resting in the center of the heart? Your own mind naturally relaxes, and the entanglement of thoughts naturally unravels. The flow of discriminating thoughts is endless, there is no time for it to increase, and no matter how much it flows, there is no result. Negative thoughts and suffering are endless. Therefore, understanding this, from beginningless time we have been controlled by this. Therefore, we have not gained any qualities. Now, disgusted with this, no matter how we cultivate the abiding of the mind, samadhi, clairvoyance, etc., various qualities will be obtained, and we will find true abiding, freedom, and great bliss. Thus, with a mind that knows faults and qualities, no matter how we control our mind, until we attain quiescence, we should strive without laziness. Thus, by repeatedly familiarizing ourselves, the wind in the center of the heart
